I've bought 3
I have bought 3 of these and never regretted it. I bought one for my daughter. It lasted 2 years before the grips on the feet broke. I bought her the exact same kind. When I started playing, I bought my own, and it works great.I purchased quite a few of other brands before i found these, but they have not been as strong or lasted as long as these.

Little higher than expected
The shoulder rest is comfortable and easy to use. My only issue is that it’s higher than expected as well as looser. Unlike my last shoulder rest it doesn’t fit in the case with the viola. So every time I have to put it away I have to remove the rest and place it higher by the head. Still for the price it’s comfortable and light weight.

Prefer this to my old Kun
I've been using a Kun shoulder rest for years, and it was fine, but not quite what I'd call comfortable. I'm a casual player, so I never really explored other options. Ended up using one of these at a shop while I was trying out new violas, and it just fits better for me. I thought I might miss the ability to tilt the legs, but it actually feels sturdier without that ability.

Comfortable and Stable
I've been playing Viola for about a year and a half now and this shoulder rest has transformed my playing. I have a long neck so finding the right setup has proven difficult, but the curve fits my shoulder perfectly so that the viola doesn't slide off or get too wobbly. A great bargain for the price.

One of the grabbers broke / no replacement for grabber available
Read the reviews and thought this was great. One of the grabbers broke off the nut. The grabber is held by rubber and bolt inserted into the rubber grabber. I now don’t see a way to purchase a grabber making this device a total loss. Buy the cheaper version in case it breaks as this is very expensive to throw away.

It's Definitely A Shoulder Rest
I play a 15.5 or 16 inch viola typically and this rest can definitely adjust to the varying widths of viola bodies. However, I have a relatively long neck and even if I let the screws out as far as they can go while remaining attached, there is still a bit of discomfort from having to compensate for the shortness of the rest. Also, when it arrived, the foam was already coming unattached from the body of the shoulder rest. I secured it with super glue and no other detachments yet, but I feel like, under regular or excessive use and wear, the foam will probably come unglued again in other places. It's obviously not a higher end piece of equipment as far as shoulder rests go, but it is 1) better than nothing, 2) gets the job done, and 3) will suffice until I upgrade!
