Bought this because it's technically within carry on side for most airlines. Haven't had trouble flying with it yet! I can pack a really solid amount of gear in here and the bag will likely survive the Apocalypse. I've heard reports that it can fill up in the rain, bit this is easily resolved with a rain cover it a garbage bag. Any experienced hiker/climber/camper knows it's an easy fix. I absolutely love this bag!
