Great Salt BOX!
This is a GREAT Product. There are a few things I REALLY Like about it. #1 - The lid is attached - so you can always find it. #2 - It matches our china. #3 - It has a large opening so even I can get my fingers in to get some salt to sprinkle. #4 - It is large enough (15oz) so I don't have to fill it all the time. #5 - The lid is removable so you can wash it without damaging the wood lid. And finally, #6 - It's attractive and makes a nice addition to our spice board!

I was tired of my salt clumping in this humidity so I searched reviews for the best salt cellar. So far this is doing a great job. It’s cute, easy to use, and amazingly no clumps. Easy to fill and easy to use. Has a large opening so even bigger hands can grab a pinch. I have small hands but my husband’s obviously are larger and he has no problem getting a pinch of salt.

A excellent addition to my kitchen
Salt cellar looks so good on my counter. I have had a salt pig for years but I am alway dismayed whenn I'm moving quickly to salt my cooking and some spilled on the counter. in addition I never liked the open pig near the cooking food so I had to leave it a few steps away. specks of crumbs and other things could easily fall in it. This salt box keeps the salt tidy and is wide enough to add a small demitasse spoon or teaspoon measuring spoon inside ( if you don't like to pinch the salt with your fingers). I also need to mention the color is an excellent shade of green! I love it

Elegant
Simple and elegant. The wooden lid is wonky and held by a thin piece of metal but it’s sturdy nonetheless

The best!
If you cook with any kind of frequency having a salt box on hand is incredibly important. This box is small, stylish, minimalistic (no branding other than the removable sticker), easy to access, and does what it says. I love the hinge/attached lid - makes it much easier to reach in wand grab a pinch while your hands are full. Definitely recommend

Lovely salt well; a bit expensive
I needed a salt well to house my malden salts, as I don't love having a cardboard box of finishing salt sitting out. I love the design and size of this salt well, however the box tends to squeek a little when opening and closing. I also found it to be a bit expensive, expecially considering that it is not handmade but factory produced. Overall, I am glad that I purchased.

Looks nice; mostly functional
My wife wanted a salt pig, which I had never heard of. When I looked them up I couldn't imagine buying one without a lid. I got this one because it looks nice and has a lid.The whole point of a salt pig is to be able to quickly get out whatever salt you need with minimal effort. I'd say this is good for that. You can open the lid and get some salt with one hand. The only real concern is spilling some salt on the way to wherever you're putting it, which usually happens. Because of that, I often find myself reaching for the salt shaker instead. With salt shakers, however, it can be difficult to tell how much you're putting on.Overall I can't really fault it in any way. But if I could go back in time I probably wouldn't have bought it. At least it looks nice.
