Q: My boyfriends Tundra bed is 6', but he says its 8' with tailgate down, or 12' with extender bar added...so what size do I get???

The tent only goes to the end of the bed - ours is a 5' bed so I got it for a 5'. I'd order the one for a 6' bed, if that is what the bed of the truck is. The straps give it adjustability to connect it so you will be fine.

Q: Would having a tool box in an 8 foot bed call for needing a different size?

I have a 5' bed and my tent fits perfectly with the tailgate down. The straps attach to the sides of the truck so I would think you would not have a problem fitting it in the bed behind the toolbox with that size of truck bed

Hi Sybil-No, you don't want to order a smaller size. If the tool box is against the cab, the tent will accomodate the box. Q: will this work with a toolbox in the bed? or will i have to remove it?

I have a Silverado 2015 my bed is 6.5 feet the tent fits perfectly to the size that I ordered so if your bed is 6 feet and the toolbox is 2 feet I would definitely get the 8 feet but if the toolbox is higher than the bed you might not get a good seal because the rent falls over the bed to give it a good waterproofing seal that might interfere with the way the tent sits on the bed of the truck but this is an awesome tent
