This book is a compendium of value investing strategies followed by top value investors- from search to valuation to buy and sell strategies. It covers it all. One interesting finding after reading this book is there are variety of ways to skin the cat. In the same chapter you see two top value investors contradicting each other. you find they are using different ideas to achieve their goals. The books convincingly shows that the value investors come in different stripes. There are few who follow Buffet style investing of buying only strong MOAT high quality companies. There are others who buy dirt cheap deep value stocks. There are investors who are Buy and Hold types while few sell as soon as price reaches intrinsic value. There is no one formula that fits all investors. The underlying theme is to buy when market price is lot less than intrinsic value. The methods of computing intrinsic valuation differ though.This book offers you a birds eye view of all Value investing styles and strategies. It also helps you understands nitti-grities in the investing- search, valuation, when to buy, when to hold and when to sell etc- that are followed by top value investors. In the end you can choose what suits your style and temperament. But there is something for all stripes of value investors.I recommend this book to all serious stock investors. It will tremendously broaden your knowledge and investing perspective by the time you finish the book.

The breadth of content is amazing. Just like too much diversification reduces benefits, the amount of information dilutes value. Each quotation is an opinion in itself. I would recommend this only to hardcore value investing addicts. Some valuable lessons of course can be found in the form of nuggets.
