LA22ZA118 - Carrier OEM Replacement Furnace Blower Wheel/Squirrel Cage

Works much better than the one that went out on me :)

The original blower wheel was different in design from the replacement. The original wheel had fins angled upward from each end to the center. The wheel hub was mounted at one end of the wheel assembly hot pressed into place like all other wheels. It was likely a poor design as it cantilevered the wheel from one end, putting all its weight on one end. It eventually blew apart into two pieces.The new wheel has a center-mounted hub which allows even weight distribution across the assembly. Great improvement. fit perfectly. Spun perfectly and well balanced. My AC/Heat is back to full strength!!

Solved my vibration issue on my blower.

It fits my old LA22ZA117A blower wheel model that I replaced for my Bryant central air unit. The old one was making rattling noise and this one fits nicely into the motor shaft when replaced and works flawlessly in the 12 - 15 old unit. The seller shipped it quick and it arrived earlier than I expected. I will rate it higher if few months if everything works as expected. So far no issues. I would recommend it to anyone.
