Partially cures 'dead g string' problem.
Bought these in an attempt to cure my 'dead g string' problem. I would say the g string is somewhat better than before although still does not 'ring' like the other strings. On the basis that the sound is better I do not regret the purchase.

I thought I was ordering the set numbered CBH-3T (carbon trebles) as the picture shows. In fact I received set HGN-3T ( hybrid set - not much use to me).So the product description does not match the image.

Good if you want to amplify
Use these for my professional engagements, seem to have settled in very well and react quite well to amplified classical guitar and some use of a plectrum (jazz style). Less 'quacky' and warm sounding if that's what you're after. Seem reliable.

Four Stars
Expensive but they make a massive difference over the nylon strings. No more muddy G string.

Composite G Treble string
First time I have tried the Composite G string and half set. The G string is a 'different' material to the regular nylon No. 1&2. It works well and sounds good and settled down (stretching) much quicker than 1&2. I need to play it for a while to hear if it's really any better.
