Big John Toilet Seat 2CR Oversize Toilet Seat, Cream

I was hesitant to order this because of the price, but the metal hinge on the old seat broke, and I am tired of replacing toilette seats so I thought it was time to invest in something a little better. Am I glad I did. What a wonderful toilette seat! First, I was afraid it would be too complicated to assemble and put on the bowl. Well, it was a breeze to put on, there is nothing difficult about it. I ordered the cream color, it is very nice.I have not even fully tightened the bolts on it, and it has not slipped or slid around due to the rubber pads on the bottom, not once, and it been on the toilet at least a month. The seat itself is much wider, much more comfortable, and weighing 270 lbs., I feel more secure sitting on this seat. I am even a shorter person, 5'3", and my feet do not fully touch the floor, but I have no problem maneuvering myself on this toilet seat. I would highly recommend this seat to anyone. This is particularly important for my husband as he has Parkinson's Disease, and suffers from chronic constipation and spends a lot on time on the seat, and he is much more comfortable with the seat. He says it is softer to sit on. He weighs 236 lbs and is 6'. He says for heavier people, it is a much better seat.It is beautifully made, very well constructed, but definitely much larger all the way around than your normal seat.It is also easier to clean when you lift the seat up, because there is more room around the area where the seat hinges to the bowl, so you just spray and wipe as usual, but I can even fit my hand in with the paper towels underneath the hinge and you can really get it spotless.If you are primarily concerned with comfort, safety, ease of maintenance, durability, functionality, and practicality, you will not be disappointed in the Big John Toilette seat. Because it's also great for Big Jill!

It was funny whaen I first put it in and I got a few comments on it that it was huge, but once they had to sit on it, they where converts, in fact some people say " oh my God where did you get that seat!" brother in law will wait to sit on what he calls the most comfortable bathroom ever and spend on average 15-20 minute on it. My original toilet was designed a bit lower than normal, so the added height was welcomed. The hardware is solid, and it will not move around like other seats, this is one where if a component breaks, which I cannot see how, is easily replacable. Can not say enough about this seat, the actual opening is the same size as most seats, so kids wont fall through, its just designed right. well worththe money.

This seat is sturdier than any we have ever used! It eliminates the need for a separate raised seat that has to be removed and cleaned. I want to another for our other bathroom too!

I really like the "Big John" toilet. It's very comfortable and I've even gotten compliments from guests saying they like it too. So much so that one friend ordered one for herself!

My son had emergency back surgery, Cauda Equina. He is 6’8 280 pounds, big guy. He came to stay with me and my toilet seat wasn’t gonna work. I ordered an Xlarge commode chair with support handles so my son could get up and down from my toilet. It was rated for 350 pounds but too small. I sent it back and ordered this toilet seat. My son said he loves it so much that he will keep it with him wherever he moves. It is easy to put on, easy to remove when he moves, and fits him to a T. I highly recommend this toilet seat for every day use not just if you have a hard time getting up from the toilet. The HOLE and seat is much larger than a standard toilet seat. TMI but no more messes on the back of the seat with this one. Definitely worth the price!

It is so big!!! It kind of moves a bit when you get ready to get off of it. I t like the bigger opening, but it over laps on the sides too much.

Big john is the best thing I have ever bought for my bathroom.Solid design. Comfortable and stays clean. Big john has madeLife much easier..sturdy and makes me smile..

I did not like the plastic nuts for the hold down studs, the instructions said to tighten with pliers , this was quite a job with pliers. Apparently whoever came up with these plastic nuts has never tried to install them.Other toilet seats nuts, you only need a 5/8” socket to install. Much better!
