Vollrath Deluxe 7-Piece Optio™ Cookware Set

These Vollrath pans are spectacular for the price. I waited around until this 7-piece set dropped back to $114 and ordered it. Just received it today. We are slowly replacing two sets of very old Calphalon anodized pans which are losing their coating and becoming pitted. We have a professional gas range and these Vollrath pans are great for cooking on gas burners and finishing foods in the oven. This cookware is very easy to clean with bar keeper's friend cleanser and liquid. Some complaints are that the cookware shows stains or rust spots. It won't if you don't let it soak in water, clean with a bit of bar keeper's friend cleanser, don't put the cookware in the dishwasher or immerse the outside of the pans in water. Very easy care.Just a few dings found after opening the box. My husband should be able to straighten out the ding on the lip of the 6.75 quart sauce pot. I LOVE the size of this pot -- just right for making sauces or even a pot of chili. Its lid is slightly warped but doesn't affect the fit. That lid also fits the 9 1/2 inch fry pan which is stainless steel and NOT non-stick and does not have its own lid (incorrect product description). There's a slight dent in the lower side of the 2.75 quart sauce pan but that should not affect its use. See attached photos.Now anyone who cooks a lot and really uses their cookware is going to end up with dings and dents over time so I'm not that upset with these dings and dents. Again, I'm a big fan of this line for the price.

These stainless steel pots and pans are excellent for home cooks! They distribute heat evenly and are extremely easy to use and clean. The comfort of the grips and the sleek look complete the package!

My cooking needs are very basic, but I wanted some thing nice, and this set is exactly what I was looking for. When I pulled these out of the box, I just wanted to hug them.Everything feels solid and well made. While food does have a tendency to stick and they do require additional effort when cleaning, that is expect from stainless steel. They work great with my induction cooktop, and as the other reviewer mentioned, the pot's lid is usable with the pan. This is a great buy at a great price. I did a lot of research and this is restaurant quality cookware for the home chef.However, if you are extremely picky and have extreme needs, this might not be the set for you.

Fry pan had an imperfection on the rim...quality control issue from the manufacturer. Replaced and pleased with the set. Heavy but not horrible for my older hands. I like the brushed look on the outside as well which is one of the reasons that I chose this set. I plan to order a couple of additional pieces. Thanks Amazon for the ease of replacement.

These are great vessels for induction cooking. They are easy to clean since they are rivet less.The vessels heat up fast, so need to be careful first few times so you don't burn the food!! Once you get used to the heat settings, these vessels are so satisfying to cook with!!

Ommg I don't know where to start...so the only reason I ordered these pots and pans was because my husband used the skillet that was provided at the Marriott hotel in Orlando but without thinking we should have tried the actual pots and pans not just being impressed by the skillet which was amazing..so they are horrible even on low everything sticks where you have to soak it to be cleaned..on the skillet that I ordered separately from this order it works amazingly..and unfortunately that's all I've been using because I can't afford now to buy a different set right away but if I knew that these pots were like this I would have NEVER ORDERED THEM NEVER I TELL YOU NEVER ...omg they are horrible I'm beyond disappointed by this brand ..maybe they think it's funny to spend over 100 dollars on pots but it really isn't ughhh ..and I have only used them for a couple weeks now I don't use them at all!!! So no I haven't been cooking dinner just because I don't want to see them ughhh

I love these pans! First set of stainless pans I’ve used that heat as evenly as cast iron. They’re heavy stainless with a thick layer of aluminum on the bottom. I usually run them through the dishwasher with everything else, BUT there’s a price to pay in that I occasionally have to break out the scrubber and abrasive powder and polish them. Mine develop little pinhead sized spots of rust, especially if I don’t pull them out of the dishwasher right away and dry them. The spots scrub off easily, and if you stick to hand washing you’ll never have them, but I don’t have time to wash by hand every meal. Not a big deal. They cook like a dream and I’ll gladly trade the occasional scrub for such wonderful performance. I gave away my old stainless and I almost never use my nonstick skillets any more.

Very high quality at reasonable price from a commercial restaurant supplier. You pay for the pots/pans and not for the TV infomercils and fancy packaging. Should last for generations of typical home use. Is induction ready and has heavy defuser disk on bottom to insure even heat distribution. Optio is "open ware" and you can buy additional pots/pans as required. I initially bought several individual pieces, and then this set as a gift. Very pleased with this product!
