Nice book. I don't find any suitable words to describe this book. But I must say that all the fervent learners of English language should go for this one and always keep it with them if they are seriously willing to enrich their knowledge of English language.

Initially bought for my school going kids as an English learning aid but I find it an interesting read anytime.Just browse through random pages and find some interesting idiom - just as a casual read. Good to keep in the personal library.

i expected much more indepth eexplanation from oxford, just like other books they have given an meaning and examples , i expected interesting points on how these came into picture ie origins .other than these book is good and delivery is some what late ,particularly only for this ,

Very good book...Could be tough to understand at stage 1 but I must say very useful for competition and to improve English..

It supplements english learning tools and books. Helpful in enhancing verbal communication skills. A book who wants to gain command over spoken English.
