Working great, especially on fibre, seems quiet enough and runs cool.

So far so good, mostly, but watch out for SFP+ compatibility
So far so good, mostly.SPF+ compatibility is a problem. Ports 25+26 will accept a wider range of SFP+ than port 27+28 (the stack ports). Which is, frankly, weird.I can add F5 OPT-0016-00 10GBase-SR to the compatibility list, and highlight that Intel FTLX8571D3BCV-IT 10GBase-SR SFP+ does not function correctly unless it's in port 25+26.D-Link advertise their own SFPs are the only validated solution, but a single SFP+ will set you back as much as a switch...Fan noise is a little loud, but a quieter 40mm replacement should be easy enough, assuming your environment is suitably coolOther than that, I'm just going a bit of dot1q and that was configured without major drama.

Awesome switch...
Very flexible in features, fact it has 10Gbe at this price point is amazing, size wise, again, its very good for size for a shelf or to be sat on a desk. Personally, I found it a perfect to fix on my Ikea Kallax shelves. My only complaint is the noise, the fan in this thing is LOUD.. but this can be replaced for something like a Noctua fan, which costs £10 from Amazon, which makes it silent. In addition, whilst its a very configurable switch and easy to get up and running, the UI looks exactly the same as D-Link switches that I used over 12 years ago..That is why I rate this a 2 - Its a capable switch, but the noise and UI are terrible when compared to similar priced switches from other manufacturers, such as UBNT and even TP-Link, make these D-Link switches positively look and feel like antiques.
