Seeds are in the fridge for a few weeks.

Don’t bother buying these seeds - they’ll likely never germinate. The method they suggest is pretty standard, but only if the seeds are fresh. I’ve grown about a dozen or so bonsai before, and coincidentally the 2 sets of seeds that i bought from this seller are the ONLY ones that have a 0% germination success rate. That means it’s very likely that they’re using really old seeds that are either dead/dying or just low quality. Don’t waste your time.

This isn’t the first time I’ve attempted to grow a bonsai from seed, and I’ve been successful every other time. Despite having some experience in this, I followed the included directions exactly, even where they differed slightly from my typical process. The result is a moldy mess of dirt and no sprouts—because, well, the seeds are molded too. I can’t say for sure if the seeds were viable and just needed a different process or if they would have failed regardless, but I don’t think I would recommend this for beginners in either case.

Followed instructions to the Tee, seeds did not sprout. Dissatisfied.

I bout this one here on Amazon and another at the Flight 93 Memorial for a red maple tree from the same company and not one seed has sprouted from either set! The Bonsai tree set has been going for three months now and NOTHING! The Red Maple kit has been going for two months ( start to finish following all directions) and still nothing there either! not worth the money.

Nice presentation, but seeds where no good, I followed the instruction and got nothing :(
