Perfect for small repairs
Repaired several small holes and areas that looked like a weed eater hit it. Painted to match. Perfect. Easy to apply.**It's been 2-3 months. Still holding strong & looks good. Hard to tell where the areas were.

Not perfect, but it will do for now.
While mowing I threw a rock into the house. This left a rather large hole in my vinyl siding. The rock actually hit the edge of the "lap" so the hole spanned two "boards". The size of the hole is probably larger than this patch is intended for, but after two hours trying to find a source for a 6" vinyl lap I figured that this would at least make it less noticeable. I needed two patch pieces due to the size and shape of the hole. I probably should have put some type of backing to support the patch, but I didn't. This particular application therefor has a bit of waviness, which catches the sun and makes it more noticeable. You can walk by this patch at 4' and not notice it, but it's there if you look. I have several other spots with holes that are 1/2" - 1" in diameter were you really can't see the patch until you're right up to it. I took a chip from the large hole to the hardware store and got a color match in a satin finish exterior latex and am very please with the way it took the paint.

Fades differently then the vinyl siding
Easy to color match, paint and install. However after a year or so it starts to peel. Also while the vinyl is fading, this seems to either not be fading or perhaps it's darkening? not sure but not too happy with it.

not worth $50 use as last resort only
Bottom of patch is not sticking well to my clean siding. I applied it 3 weeks ago and the temperature was hot 87-90 degrees and now our weather has changed to 60-70 degrees during the day. I will be applying glue to the patches before winter. Its now the 2nd day of fall and I don't want the patches to come off before winter. The patches are very thin with poor adhesive. I followed all the instructions as demonstrated in the video, however, the patch work is very noticeable even from a distance of 45ft maybe its because, mine are painted white. $50 is a lot of money for poor quality product. I hope that this product will hold up. I'm considering a refund for defective product.

Works great but requires prep work for best appearance and adhesion
Works much better than tape as some people suggested. Many people gave this bad reviews. If you don’t prep the area correctly you will not like the results. If you do, it will make a very good patch. A lot better than replacing the siding if you can’t match it due to age. At a minimum prep area with alcohol before patch is applied to the hole but for best appearance do the following.1. Fill the hole with low expanding foam. Trim and sand foam as needed.2. At this point you can use an exterior sparkle over the foam for better appearance but not needed if you just want a solid patch that looks ok.3. Clean area with alcohol. Very important for proper adhesion.4. Apply patch. Large patches are more noticeable.5. Get a piece of siding that has been exposed to the sun. Probably from the hole you are working on. Color match at store and paint the area that was patched. Feather paint in around the patch for best appearance. It is expensive but better than tape.

Not worth it
I cannot believe that I paid $50 for these, 100% not worth it. I had several holes in my siding to cover, some from wires that were previously there and a few from hail. These stickers do not work at all holes that are not completely smooth. If there is any of the siding sticking up around the hole, forget it. Even after trying to sand the hole smooth, they still didn’t stick. For the holes that they did stick, after a week most of them were peeling off, even after painting. Yes, I did clean the area with alcohol first. Pass on these, better to just use caulk.

Vinyl siding rescue
This product is a good option to repair cracks and holes in vinyl siding. I used it on several spots on our house recently and like the results. I am waiting to see how it holds up to different weather situations. I was able to find a matching paint so that Made it simple.even if it just keeps out the bugs I will be happy. We just want it to last long enough until we can reside our house. We do like the results and the ease of application.
