First thing I noticed is the weight of this. I was not expecting something so small to be this substantial. These small high power chargers are a lifesaver for those who need to charge away from home and car, and this one really is a high quality high capacity charger that you can tell by feel alone. It is Belkin and it is what they are know for, but it's a product you know just by picking it up its quality. The plug in prongs snap into place crisp and clean both open and closed with a satisfying snap sound without any play and it plugs into the wall securely. the USB-C port hold as it should snuggly and is not going to be casually pulled out accidentally. Overall great build quality.For charging, it does seem faster on a device I am charging, but I know that also would depend on what you are charging. If your device can accept a fast charge this should deliver it, if not it will charge, just slower. I have not noticed any excessing heating up of the charger while doing some test charges, but if I do over longer use I will report that back.But really this is a top quality charger that feels like that.

PERFORMANCE - I charge my Apple watch when I am getting ready in the morning. Unless it is fully charged, it can end up dying before I am able to recharge it. However, that amount of time is not always enough to fully charge it which is why I was excited to try this charger to see if it was faster. I did 2 tests, 20 minutes each, to compare this charger with the Apple one. In a 20 minute timeframe, the Belkin charged my watch 7% more than the Apple charger (44% increase versus 37%). So, yes, a measurable improvement but not as much as I had been hoping for...PRODUCT - I do love the look & size of this charger. I added a pic of my old Belkin USB charger and you can see the new one is much smaller in size. It also looks cool in all black, and the rounded cube shape. The plugs fold in for easy transport to. It has a good, quality feel (much better than so many of the knock of brands).

Been a fan of Belkin for years bc of their reliability and normally very reasonable prices. This charger is no exception at only $20, a solid deal.BTW you should NOT plug any smaller rechargeable devices into chargers this powerful if they ever specify to only use a 1A or 2A max charger! This provides 45W power at a (very steady) 3A for most voltages I've tried (5V, 9V, 12V, 15V) which is primarily designed for use with new phones and tablets.So far it has charged everything we've needed to use it with perfectly, and I like how its VERY light and portable - perfect for our upcoming vacation.The outside is made from a durable recycled plastic and is pretty simple and plain looking, but still high-quality. I do like that the USB-C port itself seems to be reinforced and stronger than others, since my cables clip in and seem to hold in place very strongly.

This does in fact fast charge. I definitely see a difference. Especially when using this to charge things like an electric lawn mower and a rechargeable fan. Objects that take a little longer to charge. I definitely notice the difference. And also with my cell phone. I think it's a really nice quality and I'm really happy with it overall.
