反応が速い
ガラス用エッチングクリームの中では、かなり腐食が速い製品。ムラが気にならない細い模様なら、1分で洗い流してもしっかりしたフロスになる。成分表に記載されている フッ化水素ナトリウム, 二フッ化アンモニウム は、フッ酸に比べれば危険度は低いものの、扱いの恐ろしい劇物。ブレイキング・バッド未満、オペラ座の怪人以上。YouTubeには、その危険性に一切触れずに、エプロン姿の女性が楽しげに使い方をレクチャーしている動画が上がっているが、とくに子供には、恐ろしくてとても使わせられる商品じゃない。取り扱う際は、ニトリル手袋やPVC手袋が必須。少量でもガラスや人体を侵すが、紙やプラスチックを侵さないので、マスキングには、マスキングテープ、ビニールテープ、ガムテープ、セロハンテープなど、たいていのテープ類が使用できる。
