Cute and comfy arch support
I love that I can have orthotic support without looking like an old lady!!! I’ve been wearing this flip flop style since Vionics was Orthoheel brand. I have severe arthritis in one foot(see pic) due to old fracture that didn’t heal correctly and these prevent pain from that, as well as improve my back pain tremendously. I have such high arches that I normally wear a 7.5 in regular shoes but wear a 6 in these as they support my arches so well and my foot doesn’t flatten out. Also I have very narrow feet(AA) so the width on the 6 is better for me. These are definitely average width for size. I wear these daily as I live in San Diego where it’s almost always flip flop weather. I have them in 5 different patterns but the black ones are my favorite and I’ll wear them daily for 6-8 months until the arch support starts getting softer then buy a new pair and move my older ones to my beach-shoe or gardening-shoe collection . If you don’t wear them daily or don’t need super-firm arch support, they should last for years. I’ve gotten my 75 yo mom and a bunch of friends addicted to these shoes too. Please read the enclosed instructions in the box and start out wearing these just a short period each day until you get used to the arch support. Maybe an hour a day for first three days then gradually go up from there. That’s very important to get used to the support if you’ve been wearing shoes with very little arch support.

A fave once again
I love these shoes! This is my 3rd pair over the years. I have chronic plantar facitis due to extremely high arches and these are the only shoes I can wear painfree without orthotics. I've tried other Orthaheel shoes and not all have the same arch support as these. They are a life saver in the warm weather so I don't have to wear closed shoes and my orthotics. I wear them all the time and a pair usually lasts about 3 years. The lefttoe stem is always what finally breaks, so it must be something with how I walk. I like this pair with the patent leather as it seems a bit tighter fit and not so much give, which for me is a good thing, thus giving more support and assuring my foot doesn't hit the molded arch wrong. This seller was great, I got them exactly when they said I would, free shipping and returns is great!

great for arch support
I really like how these feel on, for some reason though on my left top of foot, it is really irritating my skin where the strap goes between my toes. Not a blister, but soar. I usually do not have any issues with flip flops. I think it might be because they don't have 1/2 sizes and it might be a little bigger on the left foot. otherwise, soooo comfortable in the arch area. best flip flop with arch support.

Not same fit as previous pairs
First of all, I absolutely love Vionic. I have several pairs of Tide II in different colors. Most fit well on my narrow feet and the arch support is great. This pair seems to have straps that make fit just a bit looser. I’ll probably keep them, however would be more satisfied if this pair fit just like the previous pairs I have

Great for Plantar Facititis When You Just Can't Give Up Your Flip Flops
I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis for nearly a year so finding cute, comfortable and supportive shoes is a top priority for me. My podiatrist said a shoe with a back is better but I really didn't want to give up flip flops and figured I'd get a a good, supportive pair to wear occasionally. When I first put these on, the arch support felt way too aggressive, like I had a ping pong ball in my shoe. However, much like I did when I received my custom orthotics, I eased in to them, wearing them only for 15 min. at first and gradually wearing them longer over the course of a week. By the end of the week, I was pain-free and my plantar fascitiis didn't bother me at all, even first thing in the AM. They are now my "house shoes" and I wear them all the time. I even wore them for a full day walking over 10 miles at Disney and still managed to stay comfortable. I'm a 6.5 and based on other reviews, I ordered down to to a size 6 and they fit perfectly.

Great flip flops!!
This is the first I’ve tried Vionic flip flops. They have a higher arch support than I’m used to, but they are very comfortable. I wear a 61/2 and after reading the reviews, I went with a size 6. They fit perfectly. These are rubber and work great for outdoor activities when your feet may get wet.

Great pair of summer flip flops! YAY!
AWESOME shoes! Takes several days of shorter wear times in order to get your feet accustomed to the support. Vionic Tide 2 is wide enough for average to wider feet. Might feel too wide for real narrow feet. For those who love to throw on flip flops and go----these are perfect and provide support needed for walking around the town. I ordered a size 6 and they fit great! (I wear 6.5 or 7 for most shoes.)I also bought a different pair of Vionic flip flops that are a little "dressier", with a buckle to adjust the width/tightness over the top of foot. They are a narrower shoe, but still fit my foot great! I typically wear a 6.5 or 7. I ordered 6.5 and they fit great.I will likely purchase more Vionic for fall/winter shoes!
