Great Product for a DELL DMS-59 and video split dual screen!
I know someone said that this is not a DMS-59 adapter. He/She must have gotten the wrong product. I can tell from the picture they posted. This was exactly a DMS-59 to DVI adapter. It worked for me. The adapter works perfectly, and my desktop/monitors had no problem recognizing the signal going through the adapter. I have a refurshibed DELL 80GB SSD 8 GB RAM Windows 10, DUAL video out card.I will say if you're purchasing this you probably have a dual monitor setup. I had a lot of trouble figuring out why one of my monitors was failing to use its entire screen. I finally found out that usually you have tone down the resolution a little. This is of course if you don't have a really good video card. Most people who are buying this have dells, and probably don't have great video cards. The DMS-59 slot is a "DELL thing". With saying that, it is not the adapter that causes this issue, it is truly the resolution. Dial down the resolution on your monitor and you should be good to go!

cheap heavy cable
Good insulation and worked as expected. I had a video card with no cable that I wanted to use on a secondary computer. This cable made an inexpensive solution to add a video card. Would have liked it to be all black instead of black and white.

Great part but......
The product is exactly what they say it is and works perfectly. I would have given it a 5 star review, but they made me go to the post office to pickup, they shipped it uses signature required for a $2 part??? Come on that just annoys me. So great part but bad shipping habbit.

Not much to review, as it doesn't really "do" much. It is surprisingly sturdy and well made, and it works perfectly.

doesnt work. No returns. Money wasted
Fit but didnt work. Couldnt get in touch with the seller or ebay customer service rep for a return so basically money wasted. I had a Microsoft Tech Expert remotely controlling my computer for 4 hours trying to figure out why both of my displays werent working and determined the splitter was faulty. Would gladly change my review if the seller would contact me and issue a shipping label and a refund.

Simple solution
Works exactly as expected. I used it to connect an HDMI monitor to a desktop computer that only had this type of graphics port on the back. I had to connect a DVI-to-HDMI adapter to one of the Y connectors on this cable. Then I could connect my HDMI monitor to it. This also passes the audio from the computer to the monitor speakers.
