Colour Splash Food Colouring Gel (Rainbow Colours 7 Set)

I used this colouring gel for my daughter’s birthday cake. I love them! Very easy to use, don’t need to much for a bright color as you can see. I used them in both, the cake and the buttercream. Didn’t affect texture or flavour.Highly recommended!!

I am very impressed with the strength of colour that Colour Splash concentrated gel food colouring gives without tasting fake unlike liquid ones. Definitely think I can use less then I did in my pic & still get a good colour. Will enjoy trying out all the colours, now I've have my first taste of this product. Pleased with how quick they were delivered to me, a week before the latest estimated arrival date. Will definitely be buying this product again in the future & maybe a few more of the shades too x

Such good colours! Only issue I’ve had is my blue one won’t stop leaking now it’s opened but the rest are fine. Highly recommend for baking! Great value for money.

I originally bought the version without pink. They served me perfectly until they went out of date so I was looking to buy the same thing again. When I saw this pack was the same but with the addition of pink, I was immediately sold! (Using a little red to make pink was okay but didn't always have the right tinge to it.)When you open each new colour you need to snip the plastic off at the end but the lids screw back on so can be used again and again.I was also after food colouring gels rather than liquid as this can effect the consistency of the recipe.These are very easy to use and you don't need a lot of colouring to make quite a difference. I would recommend that you start with a few drops or small squirt before going in too heavy, you can always add more. I love that you can make the colours as as strong or pastel toned as you need and I've not noticed it change the flavour of my bakes at all.I've mainly used this on buttercream icing but have used it in some cake batter too and I've had no problems at all. I'm on my second pack and will definitely go back to this product again.According to the seller, this product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans but may contain traces of milk. (This tends to mean there's no milk in the ingredients or the manufacturing process but they cannot guarantee there hasn't been any cross contamination. Something that has to be stated in case of people with severe allergies.

I can pretty much always detect food colouring. That bitter aftertaste that spoils your enjoyment of an otherwise lovely cake... However, I was really pleased with these. Managed rainbow white chocolate mud cake sponges, as well as a lilac white chocolate buttercream. I didn't need to use too much and the colours were fantastic; really vibrant. Didn't seem to affect the flavour either so wins all round. Looking forward to trying a red velvet next!

Nice food colouring, gives cakes, biscuits And butter cream a lovely colour. The more you add the more vibrant it becomes, gel texture that doesn’t impact on what you are working with. Colours don’t seem to effect taste of what’s being made either. I will be ordering them again.

Great colours. A little goes a long way.Was slightly disappointed that one of the tubes seems to be more empty than the others, despite not ever having been used before.The black tube seems to be a lot more thicker consistency than the others. Not sure if this is normal
