These candles burn well. They burn approximately 3 hours which is just the right amount of time for my needs.Excellent delivery time.

These candles burn cleanly, clearly, completely and consistently bright WHEN USED AS INSTRUCTED.Instructions on the box state: “Candle should only be used with the designated glass cups.”I measured the burn time (in the proper holders) for a few of them; they all burned 4+ hours. However, if you place these smaller candles in larger votive candle holders, they will burnout quicker with smaller flames and incompletely. If you use the correct holders, almost no wax is left over; just the small metal disc at the bottom of the candle. These are some of the best candles I have ever used. Candles arrived in good condition too; not cracked and crumbled as some reviews said.If you can invest in the proper holders, these are a great choice!

These candles are perfect for use on Shabbos evening to light and Welcome Shabbos.

These are wonderful candles that I discovered entirely by accident years ago and have been lighting religiously (pun intended) ever since. Before these, I was always a bit leery of traditional Shabbat candles. I love lighting them and watching them but after a near-accident when I was a student in college, I just didn’t want to leave Shabbat candles unattended. So when I went to bed I would put them out—something you’re definitely not supposed to do. Then I discovered these. I believe they were included as a “freebie” in one of the items I ordered years ago. They were exactly what I was looking for.They usually burn well though. I don’t know what kind of wax they use but the burn time is great. The wax has a low melting point and turns into a liquid really quickly. I usually get at least 30 minutes more than the stated burn time.I have had a batch (about a year ago) where the wick was not quite large enough and tended to get submerged by the wax. But that happened with only one batch and I have been buying these for over seven years now. Other than that one time, the wick has allowed the wax to melt right to the sides of the container (not included) without folding on itself too much. And you don’t need to trim the wick to make that happen. The other really nice thing is that there isn’t a lot of residue left on the side of the container when the candles are done burning. This makes cleaning the containers a no-hassle affair.And then I find there is something comforting in looking at the lit Shabbat candles. Not that they’re fancy—they are candles I put in a clear and sturdy glass container. (Though after a while I bought, in addition to the glass container, a decorative candle holder.) But then they don’t need to be fancy. They just need to look… Is relaxing the right word?...and they do.And the price is more than reasonable. There is 36 weeks’ worth of candles in one box for under $22 (or under 60 cents a week). I spend way more than that on coffee each day. And you get fire safety to boot.In short, I highly recommend these candles.

Ordered at my wife’s request as she was running low. When I opened it the package candles were missing and candles and about 10% were broken. Unfortunately it was opened 3 months after the order was placed so unable to return.

I love these style candles. Have been using this brand for at least a decade. They burn cleanly and always last longer than expected.I live in an area where I have to drive 250 miles to find a store that stocks these. Unexpected car trouble meant a road trip was delayed one or two weeks before I could get away and meaning I might go for a weekwithout lighting shabbos candles since this order was supposed to come a few days into next week. Surprise! They came Friday morning well ahead of schedule.... thank you Sarah!I bought these on Amazon before but I will make a note about your store for on and make sure when I need them I will buy them from you again though I did stock up for the next 8 months

I love the fact that I can place them into the glass container and have my Shabbat candles shine for hours and not have to clean the mess after Shabbat is over. I adds ambience to our Shabbat dinner and makes the home more festive( as well as Holidays). I also don't have to worry about them falling and causing damage to my counters or catch near by paper on fire. Clean up is a breeze.

We've gone through several boxes of this brand. They work best in glass inserts for my Shabbos candle holders. Wider holders make the wax spread out so the light goes out faster than 4 hours.
