As someone reactive to most fragrances, this new product is a GODSEND. This is the ONLY affordable zinc shampoo on the market that’s also fragrance free. I couldn’t find anything and I’ve been looking quite actively. Consequently I was so excited when Cerave came out with this line. And it has fixed everything, which is such a relief. So thanks Cerave for delivering a product that was sorely needed. And better, making something that I can actually afford to use it as a daily shampoo. I was using TSAL which is a good product in itself but its active ingredient wasn’t addressing the root of my issue perfectly and oh my goodness is that little bottle pricy.I will admit my hair is a little flat using it as my daily but my alternative has been volume and a horrible itchy scalp so I’ll take it. And honestly, that’s probably more the hard water I shower in. If I was using this in soft water I suspect it wouldn’t even be an issue. And it is gentle enough to use daily which is a huge plus. Speaking of — another point for actually being able to work in hard water! So many shampoos leave my hair greasy no matter how much I wash it and I would have to use a clarifying shampoo to remedy it. Not so with Cerave!

I honestly bought this as a last hope for my scalp and hair but i love it! It’s super hydrating and doesn’t have a strong smell. It works really well for the price and it lathers super nicely. I’ve just recently started getting a super dry and flakey scalp and used multiple things to try and help and none have worked. I used this shampoo and conditioner and i also used a hair mask with coconut oil, peppermint oil, and raw sugar.

Where has this product been all my life????I have 3c curly, dry hair and dandruff and have been using Head and Shoulders since forever, but sulfates make my hair even more dry.This shampoo has not only helped my dandruff more effectively, it is REALLY MOISTURIZING for my hair!!!! I find I don't have to use as much product in my hair because my hair actually feels moisturized with just shampoo and conditioner (which never happened before).I'm super happy and hope they continue to make this forever. I recommend for curly girls!!

I decided not to give it a bad review based on the fact that I know people that this product actually helped. Unfortunately for me this product did help as much as it has for others. Turns out my issue was a little more severe than what this product can do for me and I had to reach out to my dermatologist. I can say my hair actually lived this product between this and my homemade hair mask my hair has been extremely soft, easy to work with (I have 4b hair), and very manageable. My scalp is just the issue in which needs more than this. Overall great product and I will continue to use with the addition of my prescription shampoo and other meds prescribed.

I started to get dandruff for the first time in my life. I was so upset so I decided to try a new shampoo. Out of all of the shampoos that I have tried this has worked the best. It doesn't later up real good but does the trick and no blue shower. 5 Stars.

Mi adolecente le encantó este shampoo con una lavada le duró una semana sin caspa, obviamente el cambio de hormonas en los jóvenes es normal pero yo compré de todo y este es el mejor, por las noches le pongo un aceite para que le hidrate su cuero cabelludo.

I’ve been using this product for a few days and it really helped eliminate my dandruff, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I noticed it leaves my hair a bit greasy after use. If you have oily hair like I do, it might not be the best option. But if your hair is normal or dry, it will probably work very well for you. Overall, I’d recommend it for people who don’t struggle with oily scalp.

I had been struggling with dandruff for almost a year with no resolve. After using this shampoo with the condition for a week, there were no dandruff flakes visible. Now, after using it for a month consistently, my scalp and hair feel better than ever!
