Q: Will it work on a black and decker lcs1020 chainsaw?

I don't own that chainsaw. I so I can't speak for that specific product. I can tell you that it fits all my 20 volt tools that I've put it in. My problem has been that it won't charge with any of the 20 v chargers that I have (4 of them), so I'm in the process of returning it!!!

Yes ,you can, but you should probably lock up your tools,since the guy says he used it on your drill yesterday, with no problems .

I have the LCC221 20v trimmer. This replacement battery works. Used it twice so far. Much more powerful and longer lasting.

Q: I used it 3 times and it stopped charging. can i exchange? charger i have works fine with other batteries. it was fully in the charger.

Any B+D 20 Volt Max charger will charge this battery. A previous comment is incorrect that said: "The chargers that come with the 1.5 amp batteries are light duty and won't charge this big 7 amp battery." Of course it will. It will just take much longer. Plug in your charger and walk away. It will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
