Read the dosage instructions
Every single negative review is from people who didn’t bother reading the dosage. This is clearly stated in the photo of the product before you purchase, and in the back of the package after you receive it. This is not a “protein powder where you get a scoop to put in your smoothie”. Doing so can be extremely dangerous and even lethal. The dosage is 55 micrograms, a tiny amount, a small fraction of a 1/4 teaspoon. The 8 oz package has 4500 servings. Taking the recommended daily allowance will last you over 12 years. You can get a small microgram scale from amazon under $10 so you can be sure of the dosage. For me, is the only iron supplement that doesn’t affect my stomach and also feel it working. I put the RDA dosage into a shot glass with tangerine juice first thing in the morning. No after taste, no stomach side effects at all. I can feel it working, I have a bit more energy and a less pale face. I will update in 2 months when I get my blood work done. I currently have anemia, very low RBC, WBC and low Hemoglobin. Slow and steady will get my iron levels back to norm.

Use of the term "bulk" is a little disingenuous as the amount in the small bag is about 1/4 cup or less.

A little at a time...
No matter what the recommendations are, be wary of taking too much of any iron supplement. In the following of many doctors and scientists on the supplementing of iron, a little boost can help, but too much can harm the system and cause rapid aging (per their advice). So, my approach is to focus on diet, as a priority, and supplement in very small doses, perhaps, a few times/week. Of course, one's doctor would be a great person to consult with on such topics over buyers' information.

If Bulksupplements personal had anything whatsoever to do with the manufacture, processing or preparation of their products, I would give them a zero buy rating. "Extract" is an ambiguous term if not defined by 4 to 1, 5 to 1, 10 to 1 or percentage of substances. As for the entity itself, Buyer Beware

No helpful dosage info. only says 55mg
They expect you to use a MG scale to measure out your doses. I took 600mg the first time because of a wrong conversion
