Looks and plays great
I had seen a lot of stories about poor qc and dings on the wings of these. I am happy to report that mine had no dings on it and I am very pleased with it. After tuning and a day of acclimation the setup was really pretty good.

What a Let down on quality control
So I was finally going to get a new Jackson guitar. And for me, what else than the KING V! So it gets here, and I excitedly open the box to find it has cosmetic flaws, and noticeably sharp frets as well. The tips are scratched, and other places. New right out of the box, wow! By the way, this was no fault of the seller, but all on Jackson's lack of quality control. How do I know you ask, because I ordered 3 more straight from Jackson, and every one of them had cosmetic issues also. One even had a broken toggle switch. And all had 4 signatures from the inspectors on the tag saying they were good to go and boxed. As it turns out, I found others also complaining. So all got sent back, and I got a real V with quality! If Jackson would step up their quality control and inspection process, I would consider having one, but for now no thanks, there is better for the same price.

great metal guitar
always wanted a jackson guitar since i was a kid since nearly all of my favorite metal bands used them at one point or another or on and off for decades and honestly i wasn't disappointed the action on this guitar is very fast it kind of promotes more accurate play well at least it does for me the only thing i really ended up disliking was the shape being kind of awkward whilst playing guess i never had thought about that or considered it before owning one...ph welll but an added plus is that this model year of the Jackson pro series has the same features as the Jackson USA model
