Bully Tools 92712 14-Gauge Round Point Trunk Shovel with Poly D-Grip Handle

I bought this for overlanding and wanted a nice, sturdy, compact shovel. It's even better than I expected! The steel on the blade and shaft are very heavy duty and are welded together on both sides. It has a decent plastic handle. I can already tell this is going to hold up to all of the abuse it is about to receive!!!

Good quality, heavy duty shovel. Mounted on my rack for offroading. Just the right size.

The head of shovel has an increased curvature to be able to scoop better, and it is now solid (no more hole near the tip) It looks like all the suggestions and complaints have been heard... picked this one because it's Made in the USA, feels solid and strong.

I use this shovel for camping and around the backyard. It's great for light to medium duty digging and campfire fire management, but it's got a couple things that bug me. First is the hole near the tip of the shovel. I've had the blade crack a couple different times which I've repaired with my welder; I have now completely filled in the hole and haven't had any issues since. They should really remove this hole as there are holes for the handle rivet and those could be used to hang from for paint. The second is the amount of what I'm assuming is weld debris inside the shaft and I hear it every time I turn the shovel over like it's some kind over overlanding rain stick. The handle, although plastic is very sturdy. I would buy again but I would like to see the design improved.

I only had it for a short period of time (it got stolen off my roof rack. I recommend securing it if used in similar manner). The one time i used it was on a road trip through the Southern Oregon wilderness. I was successfully able to dig a hole for you know what, and peacefully continue on my journey. I did like it was made in the USA. Merika!

Bought this for use while on trails and driving around. Only use thus far has been on the beach while camping. I can tell you the construction of the shovel is very solid. It’s not a very large or heavy shovel, but for any digging needed on my excursions it has preformed well for its intentions. I highly recommend this item.

Thought the cost might be up there, you will never need another garden shovel again.

strong looking shovel, good weight and all one piece (welded together)only thing that I would change and I'm not sure why a company would make such a great product and then rivet a cheap plastic handle on the end? Maybe there is a reason for this, but I don't know what it would be.

Les dimensions de la pelle dans la description sont erronées. Cette pelle est très petite, et comparable à une pelle pour enfant. Elle fait plutôt approximativement 7" X 8,5" et environ 30" de long maximum.Pour quelqu'un qui veut une pelle à gâteau ça peut faire l'affaire...! À ce format, elle ne peut m'être d'aucune utilité: je vais donc la retourner.
