Sound is crisp and they produce a nice bass

good speaker - sounds good hase some boom..
i did a hole Ds18 speakers system (kenwood deck 300w) .. 5.25 & 5x7 & 1.5inch tweeter ... i seen that Ds18 was a new kids on the block and im retro-brighten a 1994 Dodge Dakota on the cheap ... i can say the sound is alsom ... best part of a Ds18 cheep system is max volume -without distortions .. both the 5.25inch & (5x7 GenX "3way" ) thump , vibratted all doors / loosen bolts ... , grate contrast of sound ranges, a very nice general speaker's , my next system will be Ds18 (hopefully with a truck for some subs)ez install - standard mounting (also ez to drill new hole into car to make fit )2x , quality speaker wire /with connectors

Loud clear sound!
Bought these to replace factory ford 5x7 speakers. Paired with a new stereo unit these are amazing. Much Louder and super clear sound!! Zero complaints!!
