Loosens up phlegm from deep within
I’m aware that this is marketed as a “lung exerciser”, and that may be the case with some people with weakened lung muscles for whatever reason, but it’s primary purpose is to loosen up and dislodge phlegm from deep within your lungs and airways. It does this by inducing vibrations into your lungs via resistance and release of your exhaled breaths- many times a second. It absolutely worked for me, after using it for just ten minutes. It was a little tricky to get the correct angle at first, but I was able to find it eventually. This is important because you need to make the ball inside vibrate, or oscillate, rapidly. Simple levitating the ball and blowing past it won’t do anything to loosen mucus. The instructions are detailed, but one thing to note, it seemed to imply that the device came with the larger ball installed, and with the smaller ball in the package, but it was opposite. The smaller ball came installed. So why not 5 stars? For one, it’s difficult to get it to work as intended. Some people will find this frustrating. Secondly, the cost is way too high for this. I expect the seller to come down from the current $100~ or so, but their other offering, the “Airphysio” is also significantly higher than other similar devices. They market it as a premium product, and it may be, but it still seems to be a lot of money for a hunk of plastic and 2 ball bearings. Is the cost worth it to you? Maybe. Maybe not.~Unbiased review- No benefit/penalty for good/bad marks~

Works Well, High Quality
The Better Breathing Sport Exercise Breather Product and Fitness Trainer is a well made product that does what it is intended to do. It is fairly simple to use -- just blow in it until the steel ball vibrates up and down. The only difficulty is getting the right angle to make the ball vibrate, but after a little practice it becomes easy. Like any lung exerciser, it is difficult to tell exactly how much it helps because the changes are slow and incremental, but I can definitely feel my lungs having to work a little when I use it, so I am confident it makes a difference. The unit comes with a very complete and detailed set of instructions, which is a welcome change from the many products that have poorly written and sometimes useless instructions. The seller states that the unit should be cleaned every time it is used, which would be a pain because it has to be disassembled to clean it, but I don't really feel it is necessary and have only cleaned it once every few days. I like the lung trainer overall, but it is not cheap, even at the current price of about fifty bucks. However, this product is made in Australia, not China, and similar products from China are in the forty to fifty dollar range. Personally, I am willing to pay a little more for a product that is not made in China, but that is a matter of personal preference. I recommend this to anyone looking for a lung trainer of this sort, and I give it five stars for quality and function.

Overpriced Waiting on results
This is definately not worth the price, even the discounted one they have. Basically, it's four pieces of plastic and a metal ball.I regularly exercise and feel like I have good lungs. I haven't been able to see a marked improvement in my stamina. I can tell that something does happens in my lungs with mucus. It's kind of weird to explain. I'm going to give it more time and will update my review later. It does come with detailed instructions which is a plus. One thing I'm not a fan of is that it says to use multiple times per day. It also tells you to wash after each use. Taking the thing a part each time is kind of annoying.

Will probably work as advertised to aid in lung health, etc, but seems overpriced for what it is.
I actually have another one of these, different model, different manufacturer, and it was provided by the hospital. While the theory behind both models seems to be the same, here is quite a difference between the 2. The model from the hospital is meant for those some form of COPD, whereas this one is for sports men & women. Both aim at improving lung health & function, while aiding in expelling mucus from the lungs. They both produce a vibration that goes to the lungs as you exhale through the mouthpiece. The biggest difference is the level of difficulty in getting the desired results as they are used. It is much more difficult to obtain the vibration and bouncing of the stainless steel ball barring in this model, but once achieved its bound to have an effect on the, which is to be expected since they are designed to be used by people who are already physically fit. This is small enough to be very portable, though it is a bit weighty for its size due to the steel ball barring. The rest of it is plastic. It is very simple to take apart for cleaning, although there is a rather lengthy instruction for cleaning it, which they say should be done after every use. Hand washing only - no machine washing. The quality is ok, but if dropped on a hard surface while assembled with a ball barring in place the plastic will probably crack. For what you're getting I think the price is rather steep.
