Amazing value
Been looking for a new winter jacket since last one leaked dye onto a fgavourite shirt when it got (very) wet. This is affordable yet seems well made. Fitting advice from other reviews was spot on. And in persistent rain the other day I was warm and dry with just a short and T-shirt underneath. Quite impressed. The collar tab (for wearing the collar up and staying warm should be 2cm longer -- it's a bit of a snug fit but perfectly usable.Nice touches include the removable liner, and extendable cuffs. I'd like an inside pocket but the 4 outside patch pockets work well with good poppers. They kept my hands warm and my phone dry. This is proving to be a good buy.

Excellent- but take care on ordering the correct size.
Quality appears excellent. The material is heavy grade of the weight you will get from a good quality wax jacket, but is actually like my army-issued kit in the 1970’s- and that includes the zips. I can’t imagine they will ever wear out! Manufacture (standard of sewing on the seems) looks first class. The hood is stored in a deep zipped pocket in the back so does not need to be rolled before storing up- it lays flat inside. The collar stands up nicely (well made and as stated the material is naturally stiff on account of the weight and high grade). The liner buttons in well, and is a perfect fit and it it sleeved, so is very warm (I seem to remember my army issued one was sleeveless, this is better).I have a 44inch chest, and ordered the Large size. The size chart says this size comes up a little over 50 inch in the chest. I measured my jacket out of the package at 48inches. This means I can wear a fleece AND keep the liner buttoned in and still feels comfortable. However, if I was another inch in the chest I would order the XL size.Final point, I don’t think this can be beaten on value for money.

Great jackets - I have two now.
I bought a blue Brandit M65 as it was on offer from Amazon, so I got a very good price.I bought an Olive one a year or two ago and find it very comfortable. With the lining buttoned in it's fine for the coldest days, but also works well in Spring and Autumn with it out.The pockets are roomy and the velcro cuffs keep your arms warm with gloves in.It seems to have all the correct M65 features (hood in the collar, button in lining, buttons for gloves, waist cord, etc) and has stood up to regular wear over that time with little sign of wear and tear.Looking for a fault, I'd say the stitching isn't perfect, so it can't compare with some of the most expensive M65 and similar-style jackets, but it does the job of keeping you warm and dry just as well at a very reasonable price.

kept me warm
nice jacket with massive pockets. It has kept me warm during winter, in the east anglia area

Average jacket.
Not the best fit ! I’m a medium, body wise the fit is ok but the arm length and cuff adjustment are poor ! The arm length is long , the cuff adjustment is a Velcro strap , so in my opinion spoils the jacket. Also there’s no inner secure pocket for any valuables again the outer pockets are at best adequate. On the plus side the jacket feels warm and with the option of removing the inner lining will make it usable throughout most of the year .

Fantastic
What a jacket for price. Really well put together. Good quality, optional liner, hood. Really fantastic.

Not good
Sleeve is split at the shoulder. Product is poor quality if it’s arriving with a split like this. Return is being a hassle. Don’t bother buying here

Way too small (update to 5 star)
*UPDATE*Well after returning the 5xl, I replaced it with a 7xl, I went two sizes up, as I would like to be able to weat a hood underneath. This fits perfectly, although the arms are now a touch too long, but handily they have a velcro but so you can tuck the arms in a bit.The quality is as good as the first one, so not disappointed anymore. Very happy, and would happily recommend it.I bought a 5xl as I'm a big lad and wanted a bit of extra space, measured my chest and ordered accordingly. Well it arrived and I can't even do the zip up, which is a shame as the jacket feels like really good quality, sort of a waxy cotton, solid zips, and decently long arms.So a bit of a let down that I had to return it. I have re ordered though, this time a 7xl!!!! So hopefully that will be big enough.Slightly different pattern, so there will be a separate review for that one when it arrives.
