Well thought out product for sure
This is by far the nicest and most practical wire I have purchased in a long time. The wire itself looks to be of high quality and the cover is relaxed and pliable and very easy to work with. I like everything about this wire and used it on two complete audio/video systems. No more stiff, hard to manipulate wire runs, this product is absolutely superb, I recommend it over any other wire, it's well made, of the highest quality, and just a pleasure to use. Some mentioned being shorted, that did not happen with me, my run was exactly 100' and 3.5" more!Great, Great product, I'm so glad I found it on Amazon!

One of my favorite speaker cables now
Outstanding quality. Immediately improved the performance over the old 18ga wires of my speakers across the board. The clarity is unbelievable and overall system no longer seems strained to drive the speakers. This cable is easy to use. Due to its thickness, it unrolls and stays (relatively) flat compared to thinner gauges which stay coiled and then become frustrating to use. You also end up using less cable because it pulls straight and flat rather than coiled.Hiding it was easy with some self-adhesive cable trays although if you use a small cable tray like me, going around corners is a challenge. These worked perfectly with Sewell banana plugs. I loved how many copper strands were available in each side, allowing for nearly 100% coverage of the banana plug crimp.I still have plenty of this leftover from my 5.1 channel surround sound setup and look forward to using it again as I expand into Dolby Atmos.Like one other reviewer mentioned, stripping with auto-strippers was a bit tough at first but nothing to worry about. The jacket is very soft material and so the auto-stripper would tend to stretch it rather than cut it. I put additional pressure down on the jaws with my free hand to assist with cutting and pulling apart the jacket, which worked just fine. The value is unbeatable and I would absolutely buy this product again. I’m never going back to thin gauge speaker cable again.

This is the best speaker wire I had from Amazon. Amazing quality!
In past two years I have made two home theaters in my basement with total of 20 speakers installed (a bit crazy I know but a 7.1 system plus another 7.1.4 takes a lot of speakers and wires.... ). I have bought many different wires from Amazon. Most of them cheap or "Amazon best choice" etc. I can tell you, this Kord Kable is by far the nicest wire I have used and the price is totally justified by its superior quality. When using the wire one thing immediately stands out to me is that its plastic insulation is so nicely thin and soft, combined with the nature of real copper, making the wire amazingly knot-free and super easy to lay out. Compared to this Kord Kable experience, those cheating CCA wires with thick and hard insulation are absolutely nightmares. Another thing is after striping the wire its copper threads are again so nicely soft and fine, making working with them such a pleasure. In contrast, all the copper threads from those cheap wires are stiff and kind of bristle (probably b/c they're not real copper, but CCA "copper clad aluminum"). Huge difference.Don't waste your money ever on those $10/100 ft wires. You only need to spend on wire once and spend dozen bucks more with this quality wire and be done with it. My only regret is why I didn't know this nice wire until last week. Amazon flooded their pages with so many crappy wires that a genuinely good one like Kord Kable is almost impossible to be found. I only heard it by chance when one recommended it on an audio/video forum. If I have one wish that would be that Kord Kable could come with some color variation not jut blue. It'll be nice to color code the wires to different speakers.

Highest quality and easy to work with
This 12 gauge speaker wire is the real deal. no need to support the Monster trademark when less expensive options are just as good. After trying a different 12-gauge from amazon I was a little worried that everything this thick would look like a monstrosity intended to be buried behind sheet rock. Not so here. This blue cable lays flat like the cheap stuff you are used to but is incredibly flexible and easy to work worth - it doesn't kink or crimp while you're taking out length. The blue sleeve seems bright when you see the spool but not overwhelming once laid out. I finished the wire with these banana plugs GLS Audio Black Chrome Series "Generation 4" Gold Connector Banana Plugs Banana Clips - 20 Pack (10 Reds & 10 Blacks).. Looks good, sounds good and the seller shipped quickly. For the audiophiles:Gauge: Seemed accurate to me and my wire strippers but I realize my "measurement" isn't perfectly scientific. I tested my JBL rear channels (on 5 channel stereo - 6 ohm load) with both a 10 foot length and a 35 foot length I couldn't tell a difference in bass or clarity - although I'm pretty sure that might not be enough of a difference in length to notice anything anyway with a 12 AWG.Diameter: The individual copper strands have a noticeably smaller girth compared with the average radio shack wire - the strands are remarkably fine. At the 35 feet length the resolution was markedly better than the 16 gauge I was using temporarily and the highs were nice and smooth by comparison.
