excellent light roast
really enjoyed this. the light roast was great for our daily morning flat whites.was easy to get it dialled in on our grinder thankfully as 200g doesn't yield that many drinks so wasting shots is always disappointing but was pleased to see this was nice and unfussy and everything was more than drinkable while i tweaked it around each time to get it right in the sweet spot.

lovely flavour, good value, grind well, kudos for their charitable donations & environmental stance
PROS-lovely flavour, not bitter at all (as usual, I use a bit more than directed, for a stronger flavour)-these grind well in my hand-grinder (I grind for use in an aeropress)-the bag is well sealed (but I have decanted it into vacuum sealed mason jars)CONS-bag isn’t resealable (but I decant my beans into mason jars and vacuum seal them, so this isn’t a bit deal for me)-pretty expensive (but I do appreciate that their donations and environmental stance will add to their costs)NOTES-kudos for their environmental stance and charitable donations-my palette isn’t sensitive enough to get any tasting notes, but I do like the flavour of thisMY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Ok taste
This is a coffee beans pack with 200 grams weight. Has ok taste, not as good as I expected. Mixed with other beans to use.Note that this is a Vine review for the item sent for free to review. My reviews are not based on the price but just the material, make, general quality and the usefulness of the product. Please do your own research and comparison on the price.

A light coffee for days when you don't need the caffeine
This is quite a light roast and a mild coffee. That doesn't mean bland though - it has good flavouring.I do prefer the stronger coffees personally, but if you lean towards a lighter taste, then this may be for you.The company has excellent ethics - I strongly support the Fairtrade initiative and 6% of sales are donated to the RSPB.

Nice "Intro" To Light Roast Coffee
I generally go for Italian roast (quite a bit darker, like Lavazza Rossa). I like this a lot more than most light roast coffee though - it's just not as acidic as some. I did grind it finer than I normally do for my V60 to help with the extraction, and it did the job. Taste is really subjective, but this is definitely worth a try - I think it will appeal to a wide range of coffee drinkers.

Delightful light roast
Really enjoying these light roast beans in my morning routine! The coffee is smooth with a wonderful aroma, and just enough strength to kickstart my day. I'm thrilled about supporting sustainable farming practices and Fairtrade. Plus, there's a comforting notion knowing part of this purchase goes towards helping wildlife and preserving habitats. A perfect choice for those who care about taste and ethics.

nice ethics, weird coffee
I like the principles of the company, if indeed they are more than pure marketing. But the coffee beans tasted weird to my partner and I, the light roast was fine but it felt like they'd added a tablespoon of salt to it, more like the beans were grown by the sea than in the rainforest. Ah well, not for us but not undrinkable

Delicious light coffee
Delicious coffee with a light roast, this allows for the notes of the coffee to come through more smoothly. It works well both as an espresso or with milk such as a latte or cappuccino. I would get this again.
