literally half of the bag is dust
Pretty disappointed at the amount of dust, "a little dusty" is disingenuous and misleading. There is way too much of it, so it definitely wasn't ALL created by traveling through the mail system. After sifting it all and washing it, I have a little less than 2 gal of clean pumice. So I threw out a whole gallon of dust, and now I need to buy more pumice for my project. The only reason it's cheap is because one-third of it is useless.

Good price for volume, rinse to remove dust, BYO storage container
For the price compared to other pumice by volume this was one of the best and I really am happy with the purchase. Key notes:--The packaging was a light trash bag taped haphazardly closed, inside of a cardboard box that did not survive shipping well. I mean, it's rocks. In a box. I could feel the dust as soon as I picked up the box in which it was shipped. Open outside or on a covered surface.--So. Much. Dust. The seller has an image to give a realistic expectation of the amount of dust you will get with your rocks. That was almost exactly what it looked like inside of the bag. I rinsed it all with a sieve to remove the super fine particulates, one scoop at a time. Laborious, but worth it. Again, see price and price compare!--Size of most stones are smaller than indicated size. More appropriately it should indicate "up to XX" size. Still worth it as a soil amendment. I will buy the larger size next time.--You will need a container for storing what you don't immediately use. R.I.P. shipping box and bag. Informationally, a 60 ounce mini-twist pretzel barrel from Sam's Club was EXACTLY the size to rehome 3 pounds of rinsed pumice.--Seller images indicating tagalong bonuses is accurate. Seller is definitely not mis-representing their product. There were a few seed shells, random tiny twigs, and one blue strand of plastic. Don't care, still cheap and I could pick it out.--Budget pumice!Overall, very happy with the purchase. I only dropped off one star due to it did not come with any form of storage, even if that storage was just a dense plastic bag. I wish it had included some kind of reasonable storage, but for the price and since I had an empty pretzel barrel, it worked. When I need more I will definitely order again if the price remains low.
