Q: Is the suit/material quiet as I will be using it for hunting?

The material makes a plastic swishing sound when you move due to the waterproofing. While not especially noisy I would not say it was quiet

Q: This doesn't seem to be available in anything less than XL. How big is it on?

I have one of these suits and find it very warm,and comfy to wear.It depends on your size,if not available in the size you want,then try elsewhere.
