Expensive, but worth it
I'd actually heard of Zepter a long time ago, when I was young and my mom's friend bought this expensive cookware set. I completely forgot about this brand until I stumbled across this casserole online, and the memories came flooding back of how impressed everyone was with that cookware. The first you notice is the stunning appearance - the polished stainless steel with elegant gold accents makes this piece as beautiful as it is functional. It's truly a showpiece in my kitchen that I'm not ashamed to bring directly to the table when hosting. The 316L surgical-grade stainless steel construction is impressive. Having cooked various foods that would stain other cookware, this pan shows absolutely no reaction. The URA non-stick surface is unlike anything I've used before - it's PFOA and PTFE-free, yet food releases easily with minimal oil. I've sautƩed vegetables and they cook evenly without sticking or burning. What really sets this casserole apart is the thoughtful design. The thermocontrol dial on the lid is genius - I don't need to constantly lift the lid to check my food. The handles stay cool during cooking, and I appreciate the included plastic lid for storing leftovers. My favorite feature is the "closed circle" technology that locks in moisture. I've found myself using less water when cooking, and the flavors in my dishes are noticeably more concentrated and vibrant. My vegetables retain their nutrients and taste far better than when steamed. Yes, this cookware is expensive, but I consider it an investment. With the 30-year warranty and exceptional build quality, I expect to be using this pot for decades. After using it daily for several weeks, it still looks brand new and cleans beautifully. For serious home cooks willing to invest in heirloom-quality cookware that combines Italian craftsmanship with innovative cooking technology, the Zepter URA Masterpiece is worth every penny.

The cookware is made of surgical-grade 316L stainless steel and non-stick
The casserole is made entirely of metal, including its lid. It has wide handles that stay cool and has gold accents. Inside, I notice it has a different surface texture than any other pot or pan I've owned. This surface seems to have non-stick properties, and I've observed that my vegetables donāt get burned or stuck, even when I'm cooking with very little water. The lid has a thermocontrol dial that indicates when itās in pre-heat, optimal, and too hot temperatures for both dry and moist cooking. This means I donāt have to lift the lid; I simply check the dial when itās in the green zone. I use silicone utensils to avoid scratching the surface when getting food out of this casserole. Thereās also a plastic see-through lid with a brown tint, but I only use it to set the metal lid on it to keep my table clean. On the side, visible both outside and inside, there are two short horizontal markings that turn out to be volume markings. I measured the volume at each marking. The lower marking stands for 1 liter or 1.05 quarts, and the second marking stands for 1.3 liters or 1.374 quarts. On the bottom, I see itās made in Italy and note the total volume of 2 liters or x quarts. I had to research online to understand the meaning of 316L and found out that the cookware is made of surgical-grade stainless steel, which is highly resistant to corrosion and ideal for cooking as it doesn't react with acidic foods. It is also more expensive than SUS304. I also see "200 mm" on the bottom, which I think is the inner diameter measured at the top, approximately 7.874 inches.I wondered why thereās a pressure rating of "PS 1.5 bar." I found that this is a standard quality control marking for cookware manufacturing in the European Union, even for non-pressure cooking pans and pots. It proves the durability and safety of the product under normal cooking conditions and is not meant to indicate that the cookware can or should be used under pressure like a pressure cooker. "CE0948" is a European Conformity certification number, indicating that it complies with EU health, safety, and environmental protection standards. There are a few other numbers that refer to patents and one or two numbers whose meanings I donāt know.It became my favorite pot to cook with and I havenāt seen any discoloration or rust. It shines and is not hard to clean because of its non-stick surface inside without unhealthy Teflon or PTFE coating.
