Works great and with agreat range of adapters
Works very well, though it is not easy to set to an exact voltage. A great number of adapters and the addition of the connecting cables and the polarity reversal cable are an added extra that makes this system that bit more special and even more useful

Just the Job
Presentation was excellent, needed a variable power supply for a several project, this works well, and the range of connectors make the job easier

Does what is says on the box
Does exactly what it says on the box, great little universal power supply.

Basic and good!
Really good for bench testing car lights, nice selection of adaptors and easy to adjust the voltage.

Needs a range limiter
This is very versatile with a great range of tips from USB plugs (micro- and -C) through various DC jacks and even screw terminals.BUT, as it is it would be very easy to fry your devices!Selecting the output voltage is by a smooth rotating dial - there is no notching on the dial and no scale, so selecting the voltage is a pretty delicate process. I have still been unable to dial in exactly 5V!With a range of 3-24V, on a pretty much linear scale, you obviously only need to turn the dial a very small amount to get to 5V and this resulted in over and under selecting every time.I've been working lately with ESP32 and ESP8266 boards which take 5V or 3.3V inputs and the sensit6of this dial means that it would be very easy to stick too much into these boards and fry them.Similarly with USB connections. A smart charger will negotiate the voltage between the charger and the device so as not to fry the device, but with this adapter it would be very easy to stick too many volts into your phone or tablet or whatever and fry that device too.Even inadvertently knocking the voltage knob could push you over what a device can handle, particularly at the low voltage end.For this reason this kind of adapter, when supplied with tips such as USB tips particularly, should have a voltage range selector so that the output voltage can be limited to 3.3, 5, 6, 9, 12V etc.Other than that, output voltage as measured with a multimeter seems to agree with the adapter's own display within acceptable margins.

useful display
the display of the voltage in use is very useful to check that you're not about to fry your kit with a big over-voltage.The connectors were pretty complete and i find they fit accurately into the equipment sockets.I would have liked the polarity reversal connector to be better labelled or coloured so that i can check i'm not about to zap my device.
