Great monitor for a MacBook. Refurbished but is really like new.
I love this monitor for a Macbook with a USB-C port. You plug the monitor's power supply into the wall, and plug the supplied USB-C cable into the MacBook, and you are good to go. The monitor displays what's on the laptop and can work as a mirror image or a 2nd monitor. The image and sound are both great. The cable even charges the laptop, so you don't have to plug it in separately.The monitor I received was refurbished, but you'd wouldn't know it. It was packaged as new and works perfectly.Very satisfied.

The display actually looks better than my Macbook's Retina display!
The picture is so bright and crisp, it actually looks better than my laptop's Retina display (Macbook Air M2). I'm shocked that LG would discontinue this model - get a refurbished unit while you can. I also purchased it refurbished, and yet it looks as if it's 100% new. Highly recommended :)

This is the best solution for all Apple computers from 2017 on for an external display. The wide gamut, colors, resolution, and viewing angle makes for an Apple Monitor made by LG. Really happy with this purchase.

semi-loose connections
This monitor is fantastic—the color is beautiful, and the screen is great for looking at photos.This monitor works with my 2021 MacMini, and I have a two monitor setup (the other monitor is a Samsung, which uses the mini's HDMI port).The only drawbacks are:Both the power and the connector to the MacMini have to *really* be pushed in there. At first, I thought that the monitor was non-functional, until I just gave both connectors an extra push.And with this need to *really" pushed in, both connectors have a tendency to become loose quite easily.This monitor's a great deal—and it's worth it.

Only 1 USB 3 port, the others are USB 2
The USB ports in the back of the monitor are USB 2, basically making them only good to plug in a keyboard, mouse, or to use for charging. Why make the ports USB-C, and then only make them USB 2 speed? Otherwise a great monitor, but when using with a M1 Mac mini, don't plan on using the monitor as a USB-C hub.
