Bought this as although I have changed to naturally gray and black hair I like to have the roots slightly darker. This worked perfectly. Was a little skeptical at first as these powders can get everywhere and slowly make their way onto your forehead and neck throughout the day. This coverage definitely stays put!It's easy to apply and when wiped quickly can remove any errors. After a few minutes I could touch my roots without it coming off in my fingers. It definitely didn't cause any marks on my skin and washed out without issue following application. If keeping it in overnight I would recommend a bonnet as it can come off when in bed. Also, it rained when I was out after doing my roots and it does not run or move from the roots. Would recommend for covering gray or darkening the roots for style.

This root cover powder is so handy, I wouldn’t be without it now!I really like the design of the container, and how compact it is. You just pull the ribbon to lift the lid so you can see the powder and the mirror, and then pull the bottom off for the sponge. You also get a little brush to use, but I have found the sponge is so effective I haven’t needed the brush.You dab the sponge onto the powder, then dab it onto your roots. It doesn’t absolutely cover all the greys, but just helps them blend in so that you don’t see them - it also does a great job with any finer patches of hair, helping it to look thicker, especially at the hairline. My hair has more of a sprinkling of grey (I’m 48) rather than having full-on white roots, but it’s still enough grey for it to be noticeable, so this product really helps me.At the current price of £12.99 for the two pots, I think it’s really good value for such a useful product. Saves me having to dye my hair quite so often!

I got this for my other half who is thinning on top (whereas Im hairless), she wants to hide the fact when out at gatherings so has tried similar products with good results.This one is easy to apply with the applicator and blends well with existing hair. It makes her scalp look like its covered in hair that so a lot less overhead light reflect off her scalp giving the impression her hairs a lot thicker than it is. She feels a lot more comfortable with this so in that respect it has achieved the desired results.With that in mind, at £10 for 2 pots, its a bargain as the resulting feel good factor is more than worth it.

As I become greyer, my enthusiasm to dye has also reduced. But I do want to look good from time to time. I had a can spray to do the job, which was okay but messy.This one is way too easy, thanks to the handy applicator. And it is also easy to clean.I haven't tried this in rain or sweat, so cannot comment how it keeps its promise.Good stuff for a quick touch up or emergencies. Recommended.

I got this for my wife in the auburn colour as she was hopeful it would cover up her roots as it's apparently very difficult to find a root touch up in auburn. She gave it a try but didn't find it stayed on her hair at all - as another reviewer said, it seemed to go on brilliantly on her scalp or the skin by her temples, but had little effect on the roots at all. She thinks auburn roots are quite difficult to cover up - there are several different tones of auburn - which is probably why the root touch ups by major companies rarely feature that colour so perhaps it would work better on other colours of hair.

I am a 60 yr old woman who is desperately trying to hold onto my dark hair for as long as possible. When my grey roots start showing, out comes the cover up. Covers root grey areas and best of all the bald spots. My partner uses it in his beard and eye brows . It does the job lovely. I wouldnt be without mine.
