Poorly made
The part did not fit into my machine. One of the two holes for the lower alignment pins was too small to fit on the pin. The worm gear moved up and down about 1mm compared to almost zero movement on the part I was trying to replace.The assembly appeared to just be poorly made.

A Life saver.
So thankful to have found this part. It saved us so much money, so hubs could fix my mixer, and not have to send it in the be fixed.

Housing wasn’t exact causing gear to not properly mesh.
Fitment was Ok but noisy. Ended up removing the new gear and placed it in the original housing. After utilizing the original housing the noise went down tremendously.

Perfect fit
Item fit perfectly on our older Kitchenaid mixer, super simple to replace with instructions on YouTube. Rough time to replace and with cleanup, about an hour. Cleaned gear cavity and replaced food grade grease with new.

Poor machining.
This part has terrible machining of the part. The part would not line up and the gears made an awful grinding noise. I had to order a different part from another supplier it work perfectly. Stay away from this part.
