This item was selling for £24.99 when I requested it for 2 of my grandchildren, who are age 7 and 5. There is currently a 10% off voucher available.I’m really impressed with this kit. I wish activity sets like this were available when I was at school; I might not have ended up being dyscalculate.The item arrived in a big flattish box, with a choking hazard warning on the back. The resources are versatile and very child friendly. This kit is very well suited to helping children develop basic maths skills at home. It’s also a good resource for tutors. My one reservation is whether it dovetails with schools’ methodology and maths specifications. It’s probably worth checking with the teacher to prevent confusion.

This is a great set for teaching addition , subtraction and working with hundreds, tens and units. It is a great visual aid and the children can easily move the magnetic pieces to the correct place value column. The boards are quite thick. The magnetic numbers do stick on them when the board is held both vertically and horizontally but the magnetic hold is not super strong and the numbers would fall if bumped. Love the little bag to hold the counters in. The counters are hard foam with the magnetic layer on one side. Great to use for home schooling, in the classroom , tutoring or just helping with homework.
