Very small. Very well built.
Wil be using these with Paracord 550 to tie down tent guy lines and other purposes. Firstly, if you are looking at this, you know you can essentially perform the same task with a variety of knots like a prusik. The disadvantage to knots is that you - 1 need to know how and be efficient to be practical, 2 in most situations, you need the right length of rope for a specific tie down. These solve both 1 and 2 above and provide a tremendous ease of use. The out of the box experience is 5 of 5. They are tiny and light but very well built. Surprisingly so. I buy a lot of gadgets and honestly at 7-8 dollars a piece they should be great. But still, they exceeded by expectations. One reviewer said they didn't fit paracord, which is absolutely false. 550 has room to spare and I believe a 5mm 850 paracord would fit, but I can't speak to the spring latch retention which may be the concern. With 550 paracord the retention is VERY strong. Just playing with it, I can not force it to slip with my hands and very hard pull. The hook latch also provides even more clearance, but depending on what you might want to clip it too, size may be a challenge. There are two 10 ft paracords provided (nice paracord actually) and the little case is designed perfectly to hold all 6 and seems almost over engineered. They case will last.Very satisfying purchase. Will keep a eye on sale price to purchase again.

JUST GET IT
Could not be more in love with these. I got two packs. One stays in the car for strapping things down to my trailer hitch rack, I just went to Costco and had to tie down 19 big totes. I use it camping to hang my Kelty Kitchen bag from. As well as a line to run my dogs leash on so he doesn’t get stuck anywhere but can still roam. Also perfect for emergency tents and truly, everything else. Literally so easy, fool proof and I’m a sucker for product that comes with a box container. Can use with any of your own paracord as well.

High quality, pricey
These little clamps are really good, gripping the cords tightly. You get 6 for in the package, two of those coming with cords which are the same weight as tent guy-lines.Operation is simple. Press the lever and adjust the cord to the length you need, then release. It was easy to feed the cord in, and when you do adjust it, the cord is surprisingly secure. I wasn't able to budge it pulling really hard. If it fails, it's going to be your knots and not the hook assembly. The clip itself is metal, with an easy release spring tension closure. My one concern is value for the money. These are very good quality, but they're expensive for just six items. If you want high quality and price is no object, you'll have no regrets.

Light and easy, but doesn’t grip well
I want to love this product. They are small, easy to use, very handy. However, the line slips easily. It doesn’t grip like I hoped. Would be ok for a clothes line, but I don’t trust it for a ridge line on my hammock.
