Wall plugs for any type of wall
These wall plugs are very much like the ones I have used in the past (Fischer Duo Power) for dry walls / Brick walls and Concrete Walls. They are universal in application and provide very good support for hanging heavy items like Shelving, Mounting TV's, Heavy mirrors etc.Make sure that you drill using the suggested drill size and drill deep into the wall so that the rawl plug when inserted is flush with the wall.At the time of review its priced at just over £9 which is a good value for money.

decent fixings but pricey
In my job as a handyman I use wall plugs and screws pretty much daily, so when ever I see a brand I'm not familiar with I give them ago as there can be significant differences between plugs in certain situations. The plugs differ slightly from my go to brand in that there are 4 ribs on the side of the plug that grab the plasterboard when you insert the screw into them, as you tighten the screw the end of the plug concertinas up clamping the fixing and screw in place. The plugs aren't made from the most flexible material - they feel quite hard but they absolutely do work. I have used half a dozen or so and they work very well. Are they as good as my go tos (Fischer)? Well they're not too far off I'd say but I'm so used to the fishcher ones that maybe I'm biased. These plugs are also suitable for solid walls as you would expect.I like that you get the screws included (4x50s), they're perhaps not the greatest quality, but I am not a screw snob and they do work well enough, they're silver too which can be useful as it is not always easy to get silver screws when you need them (unless you go down the expensive stainless steel route). So perfectly good fixings (and screws) that can be used in most situations, not the best and far from the worst. A box of 24 is a bit miserable for my needs and overpriced at £10.

Good fixings to have available, covering most likely DIY requirements.
We are always doing various jobs around the house, many of which involve fixing things to the walls, which are of variable quality, some concrete block, some brick which is crumbly in patches and some small areas of plasterboard, so good to have some universal fixings available. They are basically standard wall plugs, with the addition of an extending section for plaster board fixing, which would also expand into hollow block.Size wise they appear to be between a brown and a red traditional wall plug, though the 6mm drill hole is the same as a red plug requires. They remind me a bit of Fischer Duopower fixings, which have the same expanding section, which have used successfully in the past. The fixings look to be substantial, so should offer a firm support to anything within its weight capacity, which varies depending on the materials being fixed into. The specs say anything being fixed should be less than 10mm thickness, with the maximum load available being 10kg for plasterboard & insulated plasterboard, 25kg for hollow block and 60kg for concrete and brick.Good fixings to have available, covering most likely DIY requirements.

Very good for the price.
A fairly standard fixing every household should have around. The plugs are well moulded with good quaity plastic that isn't going to shred as soon as it's under pressure. The screws have a strong well defined and sharp thread and the slot in the heads are all sharp and clear so no worries about tools not gripping.Years of both professional and DIY experience tell me that these shouldn't be trusted in plasterboard, I know they say "Universal" but there are far FAR better fixings out there for plasterboard and they are cheap enough to be worth picking up as a standard item for your tool box in the same way you would get sticking plasters for your first aid kit.If you must use them in plasterboard don't use them for anything heavy or that exerts a lot of it's pressure awy from the wall. Pictures? a lightweight towel rail? probably fine. An extending TV arm no matter how small? probably not a good idea.

Useful box for those need to mount something moments
It's a small convenient box of screws and wall plugs that can mount in plasterboard walls or brick/stone. The wall plugs seem to be a sturdy quality allowing them to be used in a mix of different wall types with ease which saves having to have multiple types of wall plug on hand if your home has a good mix of solid/plaster boarded wallsFor the price & good brand it's the sort of thing anyone that does a bit of house DIY should have in their toolbox for those night and day urges to mount something securely to any type of wall. Admit it, you have all wanted to mount something late in the evening but can't find that little plastic bag with a few screws and tiny wall plugs!! I know I have on multiple occasions.

Good quality but ensure you drill to the screws length and not the plug.
While these screws do exactly what they say on the box, I should have read the box properly! I went by the wall plug depth and not the screw, so make sure they are suitable for your application.ProsGood qualityInformative box (worth keeping)Multi application squish/expand designValue 24 packDrilling informationConsLonger screws = longer hole drillingI was impressed with the box which is very informative and I appreciated the instructions such as the drilling size, this was the time I realised the screws were longer than the plugs so I'm glad I didn't just wing it as I usually do (normally I would measure the plug length and drill to that depth).I intended to use these for venetian blinds but I hit a problem which was a metal lintel, my drill and bits were not up to the task, I barely got to 30mm deep so I stood no chance at 45mm, but that is entirely my fault and problem, not these screws & plugs. That aside, I will surely find a use for these due to their flexibility, in fact I will trust this brand for alternate fixings better suited to the job, I also have my eye on their plasterboard fixings.
