Fantastic jewelry and glasses and residue cleaner of all sorts. I find a mixture of 1/4 cup vinegar and the rest water. for super difficult things add a quarter of a powder dishwasher tab

Didn’t clean
The media could not be loaded. I was expecting a lot based on reviews, but very disappointed. Followed instructions, waited patiently for the 3 minutes and… nothing. Aside from a lot of noise from the machine, nothing came out of my ring. The video shows there was clearly gunk on the underside of my ring before and after using this. Tried my diamond solitaire ring and same result. No difference, still gunky.Had to soak in windex and saw the gunk come out. Then a toothbrush got the sparkle I was looking for. At least I was able to return it for a full refund.

NNICE home cleaner for jewelry, keys, coins, and more! LOVE IT! We now have two!
We now own two of these style cleaners - one for each bathroom! LOVE IT - it does a great job on old coins, rings, glasses, pendants, earrings and more! ABSOLUTELY EASY to use, too! Set it and basically forget it. If using an acid in the solution for hard grime, you do NOT want to leave the jewelry or coins in for any length of time past the timer. But plain cleaner or water, you can set it and get a couple of other things done. Come back and dry everything off. VERY nice to be able to clean your own things while you get things done. No special trips to the jeweler needed.

Convenient to keep daily use items clean
I use this on my bathroom counter top and just throw in whatever I used for the day. Really convenient and comes out clean every time. Would definitely recommend.

Still wondering if the ultrasonic actually works or if it's just the soapy water.
The media could not be loaded. I've seen ultrasonic cleaners in every jewelry shop I've ever been inside. Those seem to work well and I never noticed any sound from them. This thing is not quiet. Not at all.I'm wondering if it's really is ultrasonic. I doubt my ears can detect 49kHz sounds, but the noise this thing makes is definitely in the "sonic" range. It sounds like a cross between an electric hair trimmer and a power sander, but more grating. I've included a video with the sound.I tried cleaning a pair of glasses. I have a pair of plastic frames that I wear for computer work that are a lower prescription than my normal glasses. The problem with plastic frames is there is the groove that the lenses fit into tends to gather dust and debris over time. It's tough to clean and you need a soft brush and soapy water to get it out. Sometimes, it gets underneath and you can see it, but can't get it out.I tried cleaning the glasses first. I filled the tray with warm water and a dash of some gentle soap like Cetaphil. Then I turned it on and the sound was super annoying, but I set the timer for five minutes and checked back. The lenses were clean, but after I dried them off and looked at the little groove, it still had a bunch of dust. I tried again for 10 minutes without seeing any difference. So for glasses, it got the lenses clean, but not anything that soapy warm water doesn't already do. I don't think the vibration did anything. Then I found some old dirty coins to try. I've never really cared about having clean coins, but I put in some dish soap and warm water, tossed in three grimy pennies and a mostly clean dime and turned it on. I set it for 10 minutes and came back. I had taken a "before" shot of the coins so I could compare after the cleaning. I didn't see much so I gave it another 10 minutes for a total of 20 minutes of annoying buzzing.I can't see a difference. It's still just a grimy thirteen cents. I've added the before and after photos for comparison. I can't tell a difference. So, by this time because of the loud annoying buzz, I'm wondering if this even goes ultrasonic. I wonder if the people who built it even know what ultrasonic means. They describe it as 49kHz which is definitely ultrasonic, but did they just get a 60Hz motor and think maybe that will generate harmonics up to ultra?I don't know, and perhaps I got a defective unit. I'm not impressed. I suspected that getting a true ultrasonic transducer for only $24 was too good to be true, and I was right.Overall, give this a hard pass. It's a cheap vibrating pan at best. 1 star.

Just WOW!
Okay, admittedly, I didn't know what I was getting with this product! Sometimes you find things on Amazon that just don't quite work as advertised. This is NOT one of those products! Seriously, this Ultrasonic Cleaner is amazing and satisfying to watch! My family and I all wear glasses. Anyone who wears glasses knows how hard they are to keep clean. So, I got this product with the hopes that it would aide in that area. It does not disappoint! This cleaner uses ultrasonic frequencies to vibrate the water and with a bit of added detergent, lift any dirt or grime from the items surface! I mean, in the case of my glasses, you literally see it coming off! The overall product is smaller than I thought it would be which is great if you don't have a lot of counter space available to set it down to use. Operation is extremely simple via the control panel on the front of the unit. You just press the power button to turn on the unit, then select the desired runtime via the timer button. There are 3 timer settings: 3mins, 5mins & 10mins. You can stop the operation at any time by just hitting the power button again. That's all there is to it! It comes with a frosted plastic top cover and a power cord. When done using the product, simply pour out the water and wipe it dry. While I have only tested it with our glasses, I can honestly say that this is one of those rare products that truly exceeded my expectations!
