Great versatility. Shame it is faulty
I bought this for my garage door which we use so regularly that I don't want to be bothered with a key, locking and unlocking all the time. A fingerprint handle seemed to be the solution! Also, the ability to remote unlock using your phone seemed to be handy. I could tell a delivery driver to leave a parcel in the garage. Unfortunately, I don't think this lock / handle is for outdoor use. It was difficult to fit and after a few hours I was on the point of giving up and sending it back, when it suddenly started working!First the good points - the lock is very versatile. The app allows someone to request a remote unlock and for you to do it. It also allows you to set a one time code. The physical lock allows you to open it using a fingerprint, a code or a plastic tag.The downside is after a few days the lock started going mad in on intermittent basis, talking to itself and acting as though it was waiting for input. I think that it was when the fingerprint sensor got wet. Eventually the fingerprint sensor just stopped working.The lock still works with the other features, so I am not totally unhappy with it.
