It isn't a cover makeup, and it works best with the help of a concealer product and this powder.It is a bit pricey, but it is all it advertises. It should last a while, and slipping into my carry-on or everyday bag is easy. This can be a great gift on its own, and I like to sometimes add a couple of related items for a self-care package. I need to send gifts to long-distance relatives via Amazon's gift service with a personalized greeting. Loving this powder. It really does avoid settling into the wrinkles at the corners of your eyes. A nice light-coverage blurring powder.

Blends well with foundation

I was very unimpressed by this Laura Mercier Translucent Pressed Ultra Blur. The whole product just felt cheap to me. The compact is very light and flimsy and the applicator is very thin. Not at all what I was expecting from a higher priced powder. While the color of the powder was translucent as described, it did not apply like I wanted it to and went on blotchy. It felt like an old product. I would not purchase again.Box did come safety sealed and notes that it was made in France.

This is definitely transparent. It gives you a nice, soft glow. I have oily skin, so nothing really helps make my makeup last ALL day, but this does a decent job. I also have sensitive and acne prone skin and I didn't seem to make me break out.
