For each "puck" of ice, you get 2-3 servings, depending on how generous the portions. I remove the pucks of ice and store them in baggies so I can reuse the containers to make more ice. I made 20 pucks for a party of 16 kids and had ice left over.... Even after most have 2 servings and a few had 3.

Like a CLOUD. Could be my technique. Holds its shape but as fine and soft as I imagine a cloud in a cup would be. Melts on contact with syrup. Amazon support responded by sending out a replacement I do not want. I definitely do not want to invest any more time in this impulse purchase.

Q: Has anyone tried to shave a large volume (24 or so) consecutively? Thinking of using at a bday party. Thanks!

My daughter had an end of school year party, and I made about 20 or so sno cones consecutively. It held up great, and everyone loved them. I made about 15 ice pucks to make sure I had enough, and definitely had left over. Just be sure to leave the pucks out for 10-15 minutes before use, to get fluffy shaved ice.
