Pros: Really well built and sturdy; easy assembly; gets the job done great. Minor cons: battery doesn't last ages, ideally need 2 for a big job; quite weighty, but I'd rather it be stout than flimsy; doesn't come with chainsaw oil, which is necessary for operation. Overall I'm very happy with this product. Highly recommend to anyone else.

Had low expectations of this, however it's actually very good, as long as you don't try to cut huge branches. Hard to control at full extension but cut's amazingly well, easy to get the chain jammed in a branch as the cut closes up, but otherwise great, strap / harness totally useless though!

Positives:• Powerful enough to cut through every branch in my garden (and the neighbour's annoying overgrown tree!!) like butter. We used it on thick branches (3+ inch in diameter) and it handled them with ease.• Easy to set up. Everything connects how you expect it to. I didn't need to read the manual, though all instructions are well-documented.• The battery is basically a power-bank, that can be charged via USB or USB-C (the latter being faster). It clips on and off very easily, via a button on the underside. It already had 3/4 charge in the box, so charged to full within 30 minutes. Regular charge from empty is supposed to be 2 hours, which is great for something of this power.• 3 parts in total, letting you set the length you need easily via a plastic screw/turn mechanism. If you've used adjustable hedge-trimmers in the past, it's the same kind of thing.• Build quality is solid. Doesn't feel cheap at all (which it shouldn't, as this isn't cheap!)• Has an oil tank (with a window to see the amount you have) to allow chain lubrication, cutting the need to constantly replace it.• Includes a shoulder strap to counter some of the weight. Though you can use it without, most people will need it.Negatives:• The weight. It's 5kg, so this will need some strong arms, even with the shouldn't strap. The weight is top-heavy too (the blade/motor) so it'll tire you out quickly.• Battery life. It says it'll do "50 cuts" (which is an ambiguous and could mean anything in reality) so you may need to recharge between jobs, especially if your tree/garden needs a lot of work. Personally, I would only use this on thicker tree branches, which a standard trimmer wouldn't cut through. Save the battery by letting your standard trimmer handle the thinner stuff.• A spare chain would have been nice, as even with the lubrication tank, eventually these will wear down and need replacing.• Quite expensive.Overall, it's a very solid branch trimmer, which will get regular use in my garden.

This is an absolute beast of a long reach saw. Positively massive, and I'd recommend getting use to the heft and balance before actually using it in anger. But once you get to work it cuts really nicely and quickly. The provided chain is sharp, there's plenty of torque in the motor and the battery pack is an absolute beast (and it also allows charging other USB devices, which I think it terrific). The oil tank is a good size and easy to keep an eye on - and do make sure to fill it with chain oil before you get started!The instructions are entirely adequate and clear. The build quality is superb and there's no doubting the cutting capacity. I think the price is pretty reasonable for what you get, and you get a LOT!

The saw arrives in a long but slim box, carefully packed with each piece individually protected.On removal it is clear this is a quality product from the easy to hold handle with pull trigger, foam grip and sectional pieces that lock into place to give the saw some height.There is an excellent set of instructions provided and as well as assembly offers caution to safe usage.There is some assembly of the chain saw and guide and some chain oil is required to soak the chain and fill the reservoir. This is not provided and will need to be purchased separately.I placed the chain in a polythene bag and left it soaking for 24 hours as per the recommendations.The chain has to be fixed and tensioned. Thankfully the instructions as previously mentioned are easy to follow. Further tensioning and lubrication is carried out in situ.There is a plastic chain guard provided for storage.The battery I received was part charged but I fully charged it via the included USB-C cable that comes with it before using it.The battery is housed in a well made casing and looks really professional.Only one is included but has a good capacity.It has a USB-A output and USB-C input for charging.It slots into the handle close to the trigger.

Excellent.A well made pole saw.Solid and sturdy in use, with plenty of power and battery life for the occasional jobs in the garden.Cuts very well and had a good reach. Well priced.Easy to assemble with clear instructions.
