Leon Uris has properly portrayed the atrocities during German occupation of Poland and other countries. The Holocaust is something which I can never forget after reading through this book. I suggest people to also watch the movie Schindler's List.

This is a classic. The style with which Leon Uris puts this tale about the nazi occupation and resistance shown by the oppressed keeps U engaged throughout. The story may be fictional but the incidents are real. Don't miss it

This is the good book to read on World War stories. Must have in your collection if you are collecting books of world war. I did not purchase it through Amazon but nevertheless to give review of this book.

Time and again its us Humans who have turned against our own race ...this is one such story, on the ancient conflict between Jews and the Christians...moving,haunting,gripping....a masterpiece.

I am extremely disappointed with the book. Such a marvelous novel has been literally murdered by its poor quality of pages, print size and quality and cover.. The charm of reading this book is gone. I am sure it is a pirated version which are available in trains and at various road side stalls at Rs 100.. Amazon must ensure product quality. This is not acceptable.

Some mark on the side, otherwise, nice copy and font.
