I was really excited about this product because it looked just like the toy from the TV show, which would have been great for my child. Unfortunately, it failed to meet even my very low expectations.The biggest issue is that the toy only works when you manually hold the batteries in place by unscrewing the battery compartment. As soon as you screw the back in, it stops working completely. This is a major design flaw and makes the toy essentially unusable unless you want to constantly hold the battery compartment open—very impractical.Additionally, the plastic is extremely cheap and fragile. The screws on the battery compartment over-tighten very easily and I’m worried they’ll break after a few uses. I have serious doubts about the toy’s durability, and it’s likely to break after only a short time.Overall, I would strongly not recommend this toy. It doesn’t work as advertised and feels poorly made. Very disappointing purchase. I would suggest looking for a more reliable, durable option if you’re considering a projector watch or similar toy.
