The vertical heat press machine has exceeded all my expectations! Its solid all-metal frame and linear guide rail design provide smooth, precise pressing for flawless results. The 60W soldering iron with rapid heating (180°C-500°C) saves valuable time during projects. Adjustable clamps make it easy to accommodate different soldering stations, and the included M2-M8 insert tips allow for diverse applications. I’ve even added a few 3D-printed mods, making this already superior design even more user-friendly. Highly recommend!

An excellent insert press. Stable solid performance. I did a few mods to utilize the entire length of the linear rail that is on the machine by replacing the 260mm upright with a 300mm upright and designed and 3D printed a cable cover to keep the cable out of the way, a cap to hold the different size tips handy and to provide a handy finger hole, a riser for the heat iron to maximize the useful depth of the tools linear rail and a more comfortable handle. This is a very nice tool and always sets the insert at 90 degrees, plus makes every project go faster and smoother. Assuming of course you use inserts, some do, some don't!

This press has almost no slop and inserts at a 90 degree angle consistently. The holder for the iron is more than adequate and keeps the iron from moving while pressing the inserts. It would be better if it had a bottom travel stop that was easier to set that limits the bottom of the travel. The knurled screw does the job, but it takes some fiddling to get it exactly where you want it to be. Not a reason to detract from five stars, just a possible improvement. Overall, I am very pleased with the unit and feel it was worth what I paid for it.

Nicely constructed and solid heat set fixture. The iron is easy to operate and set the perfect temperature for the heat sets. The included tips are accurate and will cover everything that I plan to use.The linear rail assembly is smooth without wobble. Using the design by another reviewer, I replaced the extrusion with a longer one and moved the linear rail so that the full length of it could be used in case I had larger parts. The same reviewer sent me the 3D models for a back cord cover and the tip holder. These modifications really make this already nice product much more professional looking.This sets the inserts perfectly straight with ease.The packaging shorted me 1 T-Nut so I could not assemble the lower stop until purchasing a replacement. I printed up some spacers for the tension spring to hold it in the middle of the bolts which looks much better than how the manufacturer has the assembly.

Makes setting inserts a breeze

I've used this heat press for a few weeks now and while it works 'OK', it's not the best. I've had issues with the sliding part being 'reluctant' to slide resulting in some not-perfect insertions. Really needs some refinement. And the stop setting to prevent going too far or not far enough, just frankly sucks. Very poor and hard to use accurately. This part absolutely needs a better method. Mine came with three collars for the soldering iron when it really just needs the one. The collar is difficult to hold while holding the iron and putting the screws into the bar. Three hands would be useful, but unfortunately, I've only two. It's doable but a pain. The iron heats up quickly and seems sufficient for the task. It doesn't take up a lot of room which is good. It would benefit from having fewer different size screws - two sizes are so similar, one can get mixed up where they go. For what this is and at this price point, it will work 'ok', but you'll probably want to put your money toward a better machine.

This is a must have for people who make 3D printed parts that require screws. The base is heavy making it stable and it includes all the attachment accessories for different size inserts. Made with premium material and has precision operation.

I was going to build one of these myself and had all the parts but I’m glad I ended up buying this. It was a great price and I didn’t have to go through all the hassle. I’ve used it over and over and have absolutely no complaints.
