Even though instructions weren’t great, I found this very easy to use. It also has an app you can download if you want. The plastic is not cheap feeling at all which is great because that makes it very durable and will last a long time. I’ve been using this a while now and actually feel an improvement in my lungs. Overall this is a great device for the money.

I have a very inexpensive breathing trainer that is not electronic (a single mouthpiece that is probably intended for non active people to transition into an active person), and it makes a big difference to see actual numbers especially if you actually need to improve your breathing. In comparison between the two, it feels like the manual trainer is level 1 on expiratory/inspiratory, max level 2. Highly recommend if you can get reimbursed for this item.Paper instructions are quite confusing so pay attention to the video(s) prior to trying it out. Once you understand it, it's easy to use.I did not download the app yet (I have no space on my phone) but it would probably be helpful with improving control.The quality of the item appears very durable--made of very hard plastic! Nothing seems flimsy.It comes in a pretty decent carrier/bag with a semihard shell, I wish the thread for the zipper attachment wasn't single stitched as it could fail over time especially since the items fit snugly and not loosely (overstretches the fabric and threading). You'll have to play Jenga and arrange items, so it fits properly.I wish it came with instructions on how to properly clean this item because I don't want bacteria in my lungs (mostly for the inner tube) because I think testing with the inner tube setup is more accurate than the trainer setup.

I have asthma and thought this device would be good for me to use but it didn't work in my favor and I needed to use my inhaler after I was done.

This Breathing Exercise Device works well.The instructions are insufficient, but I did manage to figure it out after watching videos etc.I have high hopes this is going to be beneficial.The games (available on the app) are a nice diversion, and appeal to my competitive side to work to improve my score.The size is pretty compact and easy to store.

I got a Sunmol Breathing Device and it's not too cool. The dials for "In" (intake) and "Out" (exhaust) have six positions. Paradoxically, the breathing "in" resistance increases (generally) with increasing numbers yet the "out" resistance (sort of) decreases with increasing numbers.For the intake, number 6 seems defective since it should offer max resistance but it's actually full open. For the out direction, the dial settings are fairly dysfunctional. "1" offers mild resistance (say 0 out of 10), "2" offers the identical amount of resistance (0/10). "3" offers much more, at 5/10. But "4", "5" and "6" are totally plugged up (10/10) so no air gets out: useless.I'm unable to take it apart to try to fix it since it's very well sealed. It's defective and Amazon refuses to allow me to return it or get a refund. Save your money or try cocktail straws as my doctor recommended.

After some research, I decided to go with this one, but I’m regretting not choosing a simpler option.The device itself is more complicated than it needs to be. It boasts features like tracking your progress through a connected app and even playing exercise games, which sounded appealing and were part of the reason I opted for this pricier model. Unfortunately, the connectivity is a nightmare. The device constantly searches for Bluetooth but almost never finds the app. Out of around 20 attempts, I’ve only managed to connect it successfully once.Although you can technically use it without connecting to your phone, I feel like I wasted my money since I specifically paid more for those extra features. The tracking and games seemed like they would make the exercises more engaging, but they’re essentially useless due to the unreliable connection.If you’re looking for a basic breath exerciser, this will do the job, but if you’re expecting smooth functionality with the app and games, you’ll likely be as disappointed as I am. I wish I had gone with a simpler, more affordable option.
