The Bleach Kit by Hally Hair stood out for being marketed as “totally clean” and beginner-friendly, so I figured I’d give it a shot.2. DID IT SOLVE THE PROBLEM?Yes-almost too well. This stuff works fast. Like warp-speed, no-joke, do-not-walk-away-from-the-sink fast. I applied it, set a mental timer (mistake), and before I knew it, my hair was nearly white-blonde. I genuinely cannot stress this enough: SET A TIMER. WATCH IN THE MIRROR. DO NOT WING IT.That being said, the lift was impressive. My hair started as a medium brown and lightened to a very pale blonde in less than the max processing time. And miraculously? It didn’t feel fried. My hair still felt soft afterward, which I credit to their “clean” formulation.3. OTHER DETAILSThe kit comes with everything you need, including gloves and a brush, and the instructions were easy to follow. The smell wasn’t overpowering, which was a huge bonus. The texture of the bleach was thick and stayed where I put it-no drips. I’d recommend sectioning your hair well and working quickly. Timing is everything with this product.4. WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN?Yes, but I’ll be much more careful next time. I appreciate how effective it is, and I love that it doesn't leave my bathroom smelling like a chemical spill. If you’re experienced with bleaching or willing to follow directions exactly, this is a great at-home option.5. ADDITIONAL INSIGHTSThis is not your average drugstore bleach kit. It works faster than I expected, which is great for results—but risky if you’re multitasking or hoping to eyeball the timing. Definitely do a strand test first to avoid surprises. If you have dark hair, you may want to process in stages or tone afterward to avoid brassiness.VERDICTThe Hally Hair Bleach Kit is powerful, clean, and salon-level strong-but it demands your full attention. I ♡♡♡♥︎ dis so much. It lifts like crazy! And it doesn't go orange 4 me. The only thing is that it dries out the hair alot but not brittle or damaged just dry. Nothing some oiling and deep conditioner can't fix! Buy it, it's my go 2 and my scalp feels so amazing and also it doesn't have that smell. I absolutely love it.

Good product, and not terribly odor-y.Had to use two boxes to take my dark brown hair to dark blonde. (Virgin hair) brought it to a copper color after the first box, which I liked a lot. Then to a dark blonde.

Did get my hair pretty orange from dark brown did not lift like it sates I have spent many nights with toner to try and rid the brass and orange I was walking around looking like a candy corn I have had many dif colors of hair and this said gentle bleach sounded good but I will say after using this product when I can time to wash omg it’s was a horrid rats nest my hair felt soooo awful and notted up like crazy I thought well I just killed my virgin hair like ewww did sit with toner for a while and I tone every couple days just to try and help it this kit is just as hard on hair as any other bleach sounded be carefulMy hair is like my soul and as it stands now it’s fried and screaming at me

This works well to lighten my hair without destroying it. It has a gentle and mild scent which I appreciate it. I hate the smell of hair dyes and bleach. It is vegan which I also love. It lightened my hair so I could use a fashion color over it and have it actually show. I think the price is good for what it is.

I was excited to find a more natural bleach hair dye that wasnt to harsh on my hair but this product did not work on my black Asian Hair. I followed directions and instead of a blonde lift I got orange streaking in my hair as well as enhancing my white hairs so it just all around looks horrible. I left it in no longer than 45minutes as instructed and yet there was some slight burning sensation on scalp. Also if your hair length is past your shoulders you should buy two boxes if you are going to try it out anyway.

My hair actually felt healthier after using it than before, I’ve never had that with bleach. I feel reassured knowing that there are good ingredients in this product!

I have been obsessed with Hally Hair products for a year at this point! They always have clean trusted ingredients. This is the first bleach I have tried that doesn’t have that super strong chemical scent . You know what I mean ! I used this bleach on a wig. It has beautiful highlights now without feeling dry & brittle. I def will try this on my natural hair in the future.
