This product is to be used on the roots so I would suggest you wait until the hormone rooting powder has done it's job!! Use this product once roots are established, when potting on etc

I would suggest rootgrow turf, which is a rootgrow and base fertiliser combined

Hello, This is a granular product. As I understand this is best applied directly to the roots as the fungus needs to have direct contact with the plant in order to form a symbiotic relationship. Also it is worth checking the soil Ph and suitability of the plants which you are choosing to cultivate. hope that helps.

Q: I have a 2 year old climbing rose which is not very healthy - would it help?

It may be worth a try if the rose is particularly special to you by watering it in. Really the product is for planting new items, putting it around the roots to help boost growth. If the rose is special you could dig down removing some soil then adding rootgrow and your favourite matter. If there is disease present it won't help I'm afraid.
